I've been trying to get all the Miracle weapons on FFX, and I'm kinda getting sick of Blitzball.  It gets to tedious after awhile.  I was curious what other people who have played FFX thought of it.   I hate the League mode, since you gotta play 10 games (each game has 2 periods, both have 5 min timer, plus time it takes to choose moves and stuff, each game takes about 15 min to compleate)

I think they should make the game go a bit faster, like the card games in FF8/FF9 did.  Those you could finish in a minute.

/sigh... I just got Status Reels... 2 more prizes I need to win to get World Champion.

I didn't even get Status Reels.  I got Attack Reels and was going for a perfect game but the prizes would NEVER be what I needed.  I played at least sixty games total and just got so fed up with it that I stopped.  I think Blitzball was what caused me never to complete that particular game.

There is a trick for this you know.

Just wait till the end of the game, and reset the team data.  If the prize you want isn't up, reset it again.. and again.  That's how I got Status reels to show up after I got attack reels.  Unfortunatly, they always will show up in League games, and you will have to go out and hire some good players each time.

I got the Attack Reels and played about 60 times, but got bored cuz it became way too boring and easy. Besises, the attack reels rocked enough to not play for anything else

Wasn't there that trick to get Wakka's Overdrives and everything VERY very easily? I can't remember how to do it, but it didn't take much time to do...Anywho, blitzball was too boring IMO

It was pretty fun at first, but it's just too easy to get good at. I could kill everyone by 10 goals to nothing after a while, so the game lost all meaning for me. There isn't even a CHANCE i could lose, just hire good guys and you're set. I had both Status and Attack Reels, I can't remember how good Status was, but man Attack Reels was probably the best in the game.

For those who don't know, there are 4 things you can win for Wakka from them.  The order they show up is Attack Reels, Status Reels, Auroch Reels, and Lastly, the Jupiter Sigal, which you need for his Celestrial Weapon.

If you want to make it fun again, it is quite difficult at first once you reset the team data.

Aurochs Reels
=============
Once you've been in a total of 450 battles with fiends, Aurochs Reels could
become a random Blitzball League Prize.  Aurochs Reels will hit all enemies for
a massive amount of damage, one time, if you line up the blinking items.  To
increase the amount of blinking items, and therefore increasing your chances
of lining them up correctly, you must have Besaid Aurochs on your blitzball
team, including Tidus, Wakka, Datto, Letty, Jassu, Botta, and Keepa.  Attack
Reels still has better potential, because it hits TWELVE times, not just one.

I enjoy playing 1 or 2 games of blitzball everytime i play FFX. Sometimes more. It has just gotten so easy to build a great team. Mine consists of Tidus, Datto, Rin, Ropp (2 Al Bheds?! I sold out I know), Jassau, and Jumal at goalie. That is a very formable team and the only other team that gives me problems is those damn heathen Al Bhed Psychs. Grrrr I hate playing against them. The best I could get was the attack reels which is fine by me.

Fun, but tedious after a while. I played because it was fun, but I stopped after getting the Auroch reels.

i actually had a big 'debate' with sdome of my freinds if Football (soccer) was better than blitzball.
we came to the conclusion that a blitzball team would get scumped at footie..
and a footie team would just drown!

Well I got a fairy tale ending for Wakka's Blitzball career. I did get quite the introduction for Blitzball. But the game is too easy to play.
