What are your most favourite looking Final Fantasy Clothes?

I was up all night because I couldn’t sleep and I was bored out of my mind. I decided to flick through the Final Fantasy X strategy guide. I was looking at Lulu and thought… her clothes are actually brilliant. I never noticed it before.
Her clothes reflect her and her personality brilliant. I love the use of those belts and her costume is the exact characteristics of a Black Mage. It’s also her style because it looks sexy.

To save me posting this on every Final Fantasy thread you can say as many as you like from any Final Fantasy if you want to.

FFII- The Emperor
FFIII- Zande or Doga.
FFIV- Paladin Cecil, or Rydia
FFV- Faris or X-Death
FFVI- Kefka or Gogo
FFVII- Meh. Kitten Sith? =3
FFVIII- Edea or Squall
FFIX- Vivi, Freya, and Kuja
FFX- Lulu and Seymour

I liked FFVIII's costume design the best, because it mimics our world closer than any of the other FF's do.

Faris sprites in general, they show her progressive transition to becoming more feminine, you start off with her first classes the knight, thief, bard, all rather masculine.
but the as the game progresses you get rather feminine sprites
such as her Trainer, Dancer, and Ninja sprites. And you also realize her thief sprite is feminine as well.

Faris has the most character development out of all the characters in FFV
and all her sprites represent it.

I like a lot of the FF clothing styles. If Zell had a long jacket or a 5X shirt he'd fit right in my H.S. Squall's silver chain and leather outfit with the white-feathered collar is a real cool outfit as is Seifer's.

The Emperor of Palamecia from FFII was cool-lookin' as well and I also like Kuja's and Vincent's outfits.

Yeah thats why i like FF8's the most.
But I guess i'll just order mine for each FF.
FF1-Black Mage
FF2-Leon and Minwu
FF3-I think his name is Jecht, but i think he was a green jacket.
FF4-C/Kain and Rydia (adult).
FF5-Krile because their cute.
FF6-Mog's fur, that counts right? biggrin.gif
FF7-Vincent's clothes, and i like modern clothing in FF's so Tifa as well.*well kinda*
FF8-All of them but Adel, shes ugly
FF9-Vivi ViVi
FF10-I didn't really play the game but I like Aurons.
FFMQ-Phoebe
FF10-2-I just like everyones normal Dress Spheres

I personally like those who don't wear anything outlandish or crazy, and wear normal clothes or armor instead. These include Cecil, Yang, Sabin, Celes (Amano version), Edgar, Locke, and Barret. Beatrix's outfit is also cool though. -CSM

Hmm. My favorite would be Terra, I reckon.

Let's see:

FFIV- Adult Rydia and Dark Knigh Cecil.
FFV- I liked Krile's outfits best, but Reina's were cute, too. Bartz/Butz also had nice outfits, as did Sid/Cid .
FFVI- Terra's as mentioned, Locke, Shadow, and I liked how Relm's and Strago's kind of matched.
FFVII- Tifa's reminds me of the Christina Aguilera video... But I ike Yuffie's and Cid's, as they seem the most wearable. Cloud's is okay, but too bland.
FFVIII- Irvine's was fine but otherwise ick. I mean, Rinoa's dancing-dress was pretty, but not her clothing. Squall's pants were up so high!
FFIX- I liked Garnet's princess dress biggrin.gif but the rest were okay for a game, but not wearable. Well, I did like the townspeople, they had awesome clothes!
FFX- I did like Lulu's, though I bet it was heavy. Rikku's wasn't bad, either.
X-2. That's tricky. Yuna's gunner would be cute without that stupid half-skirt. A lot of them had potential, but Japanese people do weird things to clothing.

FFI - White Mage
FFIV - Paladin Cecil
FFV - Reina's Lancer and Hunter outfits, Faris's Sorcerer outfit
FFVI - Setzer, Edgar and Celes
FFVII - Vincent, Sephiroth, Rufus and, of course, the Turks.
FFVIII - Irvine
FFIX - Beatrix, Freya and Kuja
FFX - Auron

I think I have a bias toward long coats, capes, cloaks and robes.

FFVIII showed all character's personalities through their clothes pretty well, IMO.

might i add that that's one bitchin' jacket that squall wears?

Personally I thought the Shinra employees (turks, scarlet, etc.)
mimiced our world more than anything else. Even cid's, Barret's, and tifa's outfits could be seen in our world today.
but shinra employees definately seem the closest to me.

Yuna's summoner outfit is my favourite. I think it's a great mixture of kimono inspiration and more modern clothing.

I love Yuna's costume in FF10. Impractical-lookin', sure, but I love how the colors are really contrasting but go together nicely, and the kimono inspiration is really obvoius.

The other characters I like would have to be Celes and Zidane. XD

Final fantasy clothing is great in genral, i cant exactly pick a favorite, but I can list all the one's i like.

FF1-Black mage, the king of all ff outfits. Fighter's outfit is cool too.
FF4-Dark Knight Cecil, Kain, yang, adult rydia, Rubicante, the black mage npcs
ff5- Krile's black mage and white mage outfits. The berserker outfits for everyone. Butz's dragoon costume. Butz's black mage outfit.
FF6-Shadow, mog, leo, kefka, THE GHOST!!!, umaro,
ff7- clouds outfit+hair, Nanaki(red xiii)'s fur and tattoo, cait sith, Aeris, Barret(the gun is part of the outfit) and Vincent.
ff8- My least favorite final fantasy game and the clothing was way too modern and realistic for my taste.
FF9-Id wear zidane's outfit. Steiner's is a little too wide and tinny. Vivi's outfit is awsome. The black mages again. And let's not forget Amarant.
ff10-Yuna's summoner outfit, Auron's outfit,

I personally loved the costume direction in FinalFantasyTactics. It's just the classiest
assortment possible. The Ninja, Summoner, Mime, Mediator, Calculator, and the
Geomancers were just great design, especially the Calculators. I remember being
overjoyed to find all the picture-cards online of the original design art.

Look! I made the Calculator and Geomancer hold hands! Lol! Ha! Maybe she's also
holding the Mediator's hand, who looks pretty close to the Mime! Or is he just doing
what everyone else is doing?! Bwahahaha!

In FFT, the outfits I like best belong to Ramza's Ch.1 garb, Dycedarg's, Zalbag's and I'm sure Balbanes woulda' had pretty neat threads, too! Fashion for the Beoulves! I think the Knights (both Male and Female) have cool threads, too.

Both Tactics and the new FFIII DS have great clothing designs.

I also really enjoyed some of the battle sprites in FFV. The berserker, for instance, is just plain awesome. On the other hand, the Black Mage looks like a gimp.
