On the cursed shield, I vaguely remember it being hinted at by "Hmm, how can we uncurse this shield?" After you did everything you could to a piece of armour, the next semi-logical step is 'what the hell, wear it around.' It's indicated that it is possible....it's a trial and error thing I guess. I haven't played the scenario in a while, so we'll see when I get there.

surprised no one said anything about cursed shield blink.gif i thought most of the ff6 players knew about it...

equip cursed shield + ribbon. Then so to the island where you first start in WoR (where all monsters die with one hit...sometimes they just kill themselves- careful, their hp maybe low, but their attack isn't >.> I have done it and got Palaidn shield, not really hard.

or u can just play normal with cursed shield + ribbon. All negative stats will be countered except timed death.

Was the cursed sheild stuck to you when you put it on? I might be thinking of a different game's cursed sheild.

I think the cursed shield thing was just supposed to happen by chance. Even without the guides, people would have figured it out, and the rumor would have spread.

a lot of game puzzles are too tough. It's like the designers think you can read their mind or something.

or maybe they think you'll buy the guide or something.

I don't really like puzzles anyway. they've always seemed so trival and silly.
