It would be cool to see a flash back with Aeris And Zack and how they met and got to know each other before
 Maybe you could even controll them.And when could you see this flash back? I think the best place would have to be at the park when Cloud and Aeris are talking when Cloud says sometin bout him being in 1stclass Aeris was like "just like him...." The closest thing in the game is if you take Aeris to see Zack's parents in Gongaga. They'll ask her about Zack and she'll leave, and you can find out more about him (like how he was a ladies' man, etc.). The same goes for Tifa, actually, although she won't admit to knowing him when Cloud pries.
The reason I think it wouldn't make sense for Aeris to divulge she knew Zack that early on is that it might tip off Cloud to the memories he's suppressed. After all, Zack looks exactly like Cloud but with differently colored hair...if he was shown at all, it'd serve its purpose better after the connection between Strife and him was established so it didn't blow the secret too early. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

There is also a cartoon movie with a lot of Zack in it called Last Order: Final Fantasy VII. There are numerous deviations from what happened in the game though, so as long as you don't mind them, it's pretty groovy.

there is also a canon (ugh) novella included with ff7's ultimania omega in which the events of aerith's travel through the lifestream are detailed. one of the people she meets there is zack.
edit: besides, doesn't that before crisis crap for cell phones include details of the pre-ff7 zack and aerith? This post has been edited by gozaru~ on 6th May 2006 11:01 |
