Well, Great Gospel is arguably the best one, but since it isn't available after disc one for certain reasons...
Omnislash is nice, but it is a tad bit diffcult to get. Highwind is almost as good (good enough to kill just about anything, anyway), and a lot easier to get, so that's my choice. However, I did VOTE for Great Gospel. |

I have to say Tifa's Final Heaven. If you get the slots all down correctly the whole thing just looks plain cool and not very repetitive like Omnislash or Highwind.

omnislash it is cool to watch and does great damage. A lot of people voted for vincent's chaos i really don't see why i mean once you change you have to stay changed for the rest of the battle and you can't control him thats one reason i don't like vincent was because of his limits otherwise i wouldn't mine using him. Tifa's limit takes second coolest for me i just like how they are one big combo.

I voted for Vincent's, even though I rarely use it. Sure, it's not the most powerful or helpful. Might even cost you the battle. But it's sooo neat-lookin'!! Plus, if you care more about stories than actual, in-battle power, his just fits better.
Cid: Where were those bombs when Diamond Weapon attacked Midgar? Cid must be pretty cheap, to let who knows how many people die because he won't spare a few bombs. Aeris: Where were those angels the rest of the time? Ya know, they really could've helped her. Instead, she got.. Possible spoilers: highlight to view Were her guardian angels on break then?turned into a human kebab by Sephiroth. Tifa: Most of her attacks just don't make sense. Final Heaven's not as bad, but it isn't very impressive after enduring all those other odd ones (the dolphin just ruins it). I could go on like this for awhile, but this post is long enough. Anyway, my point is, it's part of Vincent's story that he's able to change into demons, especially one so distinctly Satanic as Chaos. Besides, anything so luffly, dark, vampyric-looking, and possibly evil just HAS to get first place. Second-place goes to Barret, because it's so...plain. He does the attack, it damages the opponent. It's over in a few seconds, and you don't have to endure any annoying lightshows or weird character stances. i agree with vincents limits being part of the his story but, his limits just never work for me i think vincent would be a lot better character (i know i would use him a lot more) if you could still control him during his limits and i think Tifa's limits make sense. (ok maybe the dolphin is a little weird but i learn to overlook that.)

I think Vincent's final limit is cool. His other limits kinda' bug me when he attacks with an elemental that the enemy absorb, periodically healing it while everyone else is trying to kill it. Chaos is cool 'cuz it's basically the final boss of the first game and his attacks do big damage and non-elemental. Not my favorite by any stretch, but not all bad, either.

Vincent is the only one with elemental limits, which is sometimes good, but sometimes its bad too cuz if your facing someone who absorbs that element, you can't control what attack Vincent does so he could heal the enemy alot

I enjoy any of Cid's jumping Limits. It's the only one I'd ever consider using, and frankly, there should have been special abilities.

i'll have to go for the stereotypical favourite Omnislash just because it does incredible damage, i remember the first time i watched it i had to shield my eyes because the flash at the end was just so spectacular
 It is visually delightful as well for sure... Other than that, i really liked Great Gospel as well... |

Well braver used to be my favorite but now that ive finally gotten and been able to use omnislash, it wins hands down. A perfect sterotypicall swordtechnique that does massive damage. Not to mention you can get the same graphics as braver just using deathblow.

Great Gospel is incredibly useful. It's just too bad that Aeris isn't around for very long after you get it.

I really really really really wished i got to use great gospel later on in the game when so many other options become available to you (mime materia for example) because it would mean that you could stay permanently invincible, priceless for the emerald WEAPON battle. But no, they had to go and take that away from us, as well as the best spellcaster in the game. Curse you square!!

seriously, final limits are ok, but the best limit is definitely UUNGARMAXO!!! just for comedy and speed value.
oh yeah and the only real good part of vincento's limits are the comical way each of his transformations runs from battle! hilarious. |

i like omnislash the most, mainly due to the fact it was both cool + it was my favorite characters final limit

I voted Highwind without thinking too much about having just said Omnislash was the best in the other thread about final limit breaks. I remember Barrett's was awesome too.

Chaos, Omnislash and Highwind. Chaos is kickass, and airship dominating everything is pretty awesome, and Omnislash lasts long enough that I had time to go get some food before the attack ended. Those were my favorite characters too, so it works out pretty good.

I thought Omnislash was cool about the first time around, and then it got old. I voted highwind. Nothing like seeing a tiny green tonberry get pummeled with a bunch of missiles coming from... nowhere.
