This humor topic was inspired by the "Top 500 Signs You've Had Too Much Chrono Trigger" website (which actually only lists about 350, but...whatever), and by my dreams last night.

Feel free to post as many such "signs" as you would like, but just make sure they're not the same as any that came before.

Some signs you've had too much Final Fantasy VI:

+You dream that Gau has been appointed to the Supreme Court. (Yes, I really did dream that; don't ask why.)
+You dream that you and Mog are heading to his club office on campus. (I also dreamt this. Don't ask why.)
+You start using Edgar's lines, then wonder why girls think you're a fool.
+You spin playing cards at steel walls, expecting to slice the metal.
+When you walk into a cave, you wonder if there's a sealed gate at the end.

Signs you've had too much FFVI..

~You break into cars in a sneaky way, taking goods, using the moniker "Treasure Hunter" as a means of justification.
~You head to Vegas, hoping to find a slot with Chocobos on it.
~You begin using "Thou" in your speech, even though you hate everything Shakespearean.
~You fearfully shy away from Roman-Esque statues fearing they'll break from the mold and cause destruction of the planet.
~You begin calling Chickens, Chickenlips.

Signs that you have had too much Final Fantasy VI.

1.) You start singing Kefka's theme every two minutes with out even noticing it.
2.) You start playing on-line casino games with the username Setzer.
3.) You pick up Shadow's awsome attitude to people you are annoyed with, like younger brothers.
4.) You start listening to the Final Fantasy VI soundtrack included with the game.
5.) You begin drawing monsters hoping that they will come alive and attack your enemies.

+You train yourself as a ninja and advertise yourself as a mercenary. When you show up to the job, you always wear a head-to-toes dark blue set of clothing.
+You fear throwing darts at the dino bones in the museum, remembering that doom darts completely revive the undead.
+You put on a hockey mask when operating a chainsaw.
+You start lying about the time.
+Adlai Stevenson reminds you of Gogo (as opposed to Gogo reminding you of Adlai Stevenson).
+You throw dice at the rats in your house, expecting them to do (your level)*2*(roll1)*(roll2)*(roll3) damage to the target.
+You start referring to atomic weapons as atmaweapons.

This refers to using Magicite (the item) against the mages in the Cult of Kefkas tower i think.

-when you start stealing from people to impress girls.
-when you start spelling "Coliseum" as "Colosseum"
-when you believe the Abominable Snowman really does exist.
-when to quench your thirst of all things FFVI, you enter a Forums page and start going on about what constitutes you as having too much FFVI.

You refer to convenience stores as "item shops" or say "I'll take these 6 tonics" when buying a six-pack of beer.

MORE Signs You've Had Too Much FFVI:

~You start saying CrassHopper instead of GrassHopper.
~You dream you're being drowned by a talking Octupus with a bad dental plan.
~You dream the Three Stooges are really three evil little kids that wanna' take over your body.
~When your pothead buddy says "Man, f*ck this, I'm goin' to get Blitzed..", you step to the left, then to the right, then back to the left and Pummel the crap out of him.
~When you confuse Pat Benatar's Returners with the Rebel Group Returners, and deny the existence of both.
~You find a local antique & relics store, and inquire of a Genji Glove, because there is four dudes following you and you have low HP.

~When you develope and draw scale blue-prints for your own personal dirigible. Sadly, I am quite guilty of this.

~When you buy yourself an overcoat and consider growing your hair out and dying it white. (Well, at least I've owned the overcoat for longer than FFVI.)

~Using your "BlackJack" (in other words, your old Chevy) you try to kidnap beautiful celebrities.

- You name (or rename) your dog Interceptor and train him/her to randomly attack anyone who gets in your way. (And do more damage then you)

You know you gotta cut down on your FFVI intake when:

- You say you 'equiped' your clothes, instead of saying you put them on (I've done that before)
- People tell you they remind you of Edgar (happened to me before)
- You start calling cactus 'cactrots' or 'cactuars'
- Like a bunch of other people said, you can name the first and last name of everyone that had one in FFVI, as well as their middle names, if they have 'em.
- You make up your own character and wish you could hack into the game and make him/her a playable character
- Wish that you had an airship (you might only have an active imagination if you can relate this one)
- You're glad that Kefka is not real (or IS HE?? AAAAHHHH!!!)
- You always say 'heads' in coin toss-ups

Some signs you've played too much FFVI: (Note: I haven't read every post, if I used one of your gags, I apologize.)

You might played too much FFVI if you start contemplating betting a butter knife at Vegas in hopes Shadow will show up.

Or, if you start breaking into mausoleums late at night looking for an airship.

Most people are afraid of clowns, because they are, well, clowns. But, you may have played too much FFVI if you are afraid of clowns because you think one of them is planning to drop an island on Earth.

WAY too much FFVI if you were screaming NO! DON'T DO IT! YOU'LL ALTER THE FACE OF THE PLANET! while watching footage of Iraqi civillians pulling down the statue of Sadam Hussein.

You think the World Trade Center was destroyed by The Light of Judgement.

You wonder why Sadam simply didn't order one of his palaces to submerge.

While watching the part in Aliens where Ripley gets in the big yellow walker and slaps the Alien around, you wonder why she didn't use TekMissle or Fire Beam.

And my last lameass attempt at humor...

You start thinking Lo Pan from the film "Big Trouble In Little China" looks ALOT like Emperor Gestahl.

5) You use all the FFVI editors you can to modify the game Rom in your own style.
(I would dearly love to use the 'Goner' spell that Kefka has, but as yet have not found a program which enables you to do this).
