Quote (Adma @ 11th July 2006 18:49) ::sniffs the air:: do i smell a rom hack for silverlance? ... increasing dificulty would be nice, a few more classes would be fun but unecessary. Increased slots oh yes, I love my custom characters, there's always one named Adma. FFT is way too big size-wise to make a rom out of, i think although with torrents nowadays you never know i would definitely like, in a remake:

Possibly a way to speed up the battles, like a fast forward preference, just for the Hell of it, because I hate waiting around for 12 other enemies turns.
Um... Possibly some new classes, like, maybe Blue Mage, Red Mage, definately more monster types, and some easier understanding of the whole job system. And a better way to use that whole Zodiac sign feature. OOHHH!! AND MULTIPLAYER!!! But honestly, isn't that what FFTA was meant to be, but that turned out great, even though it was far off the storyline, but I wouldn't want another game that's the same except for a few features... -------------------- We, who cannot see into tomorrow, have no way of knowing... This is no longer idle speculation:

I wish that the Ivalice Alliance team had seen this thread, or similar elsewhere. I
always felt there were some great ideas that could have implemented, and a lot of these have social-networking aspects that could have played nicely into their Play-Online feature. At least the translation is exceptional now, but I was just trying to level Agrias and Mustadio to usefulness at BariusValley* and an idea came to mind: deformable terrain. How cool it would have been if Firaja could burn down pesky trees, and Thundaja could blast away 1h of earth. Or Blizzaja could add terrain, as blocks of ice! Given the extreme MP cost and charge time, I think it would have made an interesting core change. * Oh, aka BaliasSwale. Forgot some locales were renamed. -------------------- Putting the A's in W lm rt: A11smart, Jobclass: Retailer. |
