Oh yeah. I agree with EX-SOLDIER actually. The Highwind was the best thing when I first played the game. That should be on the list.

When Cloud and Tifa fall into the Lifestresm together. It's a beautiful scene where Cloud and Tifa's relationship gets close and it's very touching. The story really unfolds here as FF7 players would know. Plus after you get to breed Chocobos and a lot of FF7's secrets are open to you. And the Highwind is active!

Lucrecia's Cave. You get to learn about Vincent's past, and get Chaos.
![]() I also had a ball with the Chocobos, and loved the part where Cid got to lead the party. Oh, and beating Hojo was fun. I'd been hoping I'd get to beat him up the whole game. -------------------- Come with me so I can show you how to live Burning the candle at both ends I’m gripping at the walls around me Don’t complicate it I’m addicted to this life I’ll be your token of attention All my lies come down to this -Orgy, "Beautiful Disgrace" |

In my opinion, the best part was when Aeris died (just hear me out), and then you have to fight Jenova with Aeris' theme in the background. I hated it, but it was awesome.

There's just so many awesome moments in FF7 that it's kinda hard to pick out the best ones.
For sure, the worse moment must have been when Aeris took Sephiroth's blade, but at the same time, that was done wrenchingly well also. That part always makes me cry, but at the same time, for me, it seemed to illustrate Aeris' mystique and her role throughout the game even further.(a preserved immortality, does that make sense?) The part where Aeris floats down to the bottom of the lake was especially moving. On a happier note, there are many other incidents in FF7 worth recounting, i really liked the parts where the whole gang is in the control room, listening to Cloud apologise, and when everyone came back after Cloud asked them to reflect on what they were fighting for. That, for me, signalled a solidarity and friendship between the FF7 characters that i've never really been able to find between any other characters in any other RPGs. ![]() A lot more memorable moments, but phew, i love the game as a whole. ![]() |
