Can anybody help me

I was wondering whether if you killed Sephiroth and finsihed the game, whether you can play throught he game/carry on from where you left from.

I really want to know becasue I am in a postition to either kill him or mess about on the game as I already have a gold chocobo.

Help me please....

Give what I know from other Final Fantasy games, I will surmise that beating the game does NOT mess up your last save.

You mean like Fable? If you kill Sephiroth you can load your last save (probably it'll be in the Northern Crater) and just have to run back up to the Highwind. The short answer is no.

Actually, i was wondeing whether if you killed Sephy and then you could carry on playing the game (assuming metriod has been destroyed and isn't there - i don't know if it is right becasue i haven't completed the games) and level up all of your characters and fight some of the weapons. If it is possible to do that.

No the game ends once Sephiroth is dead. Just go back and fight the Weapons from your last save.

There's more than one Metroid, maybe he meant Mother Brain.

To be honest, i wrote this assuming hat there was only one metriod coming down on the planet. This is what i thought and after 5-6 years of not playing the game, i cannot really remember what has happened. Please amend my mistake if there is one.

[Edit]: I meant to say Meteor but becasue i haven't played the game for so long, i have forgotten.

I think I just died laughing.

Not to sound like a douche, at all C_Strike, but I think you mean "Meteor". That's what's Sephiroth calls down to destroy the planet, and on that note, you'd be correct. There's only one plus a bunch of fragments that go with it all over the place.

Still, the idea of a Metroid or Mother Brain being called by Sephiroth to destroy the planet just seems too hilarious. I mean, let's see you beat THAT with your big sword, Cloud.
