As you may or may not know, starting with Aria of Sorrow 2 and the new PS2 game later this year, Castelvania gets a art facelift: to anime!
Yay or nay? I personally liked it better before, but it'll do fine. -------------------- "Dance, water, dance!" -Demyx, Kingdom Hearts II "I met my love before I was born..." -AFI, 'Love Like Winter' from 'Decemberunderground' Currently Playing: Guitar Hero, Shadow of the Colossus |

Dracula X: Rondo of Blood (a Japan-only Castlevania release) had really anime-ish art style; Richter Belmont looked suspiciously like Ryu from Street Fighter.
As for the DS title (which I'm pretty sure hasn't been named yet...), it sort of fits, but I would prefer the more classic style. -------------------- |

That's true. I still prefer the old style as well, but I'll stay neutral.

I prefer the style from Circle of the Moon.
Neither strange leather skirts, nor bishonen dhampir wannabes. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. I liked it better, but the two big reasons I say this is because
1. It will mean no more Belmont's looking like Conan the Barbarian xcoughcoughSimoncoughcoughx 2. It made Sona Cruz look less like a girl. Juste looked sorta bishonen too. -------------------- |
