Console: Atari 2600
Game: Adventure Hooked On: Adventure Beaten: Adventure Arcade: Centipede Hmm... kinda one-sided, isn't it? Quote (Hamedo) Beaten: could you beat Atari games? Sure can/could. Most of the games that didn't revolve around the concept of gaining points (and a few that did) had either short endings or automatically restarted or froze after passing a certain point or meeting a particular goal. Beating your first game for example, Pitfall, was achieved after you found and collected all the treasure within the time limit. Clearly, what endings there are for old Atari games are ultra simple, such as the one for, say, Adventure: The screen just flashes a buncha different colors til you reset/turn off the system. The 5200 and 7800 (and the 32-bit Jaguar, of course) were more advanced there. This post has been edited by SilverFork on 11th March 2006 16:04 -------------------- Words of Wisdom: If something can go wrong, it will. If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway. If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong. - Murphy’s Law Boing! Zoom! - Mr. Saturn |
