Load times= Bad

Playing FFVI= Good.

Unless you're one of those weird people with morals, just get a ROM. It'll save alot of time. But if you must get the PS1 version. It has those spiffy FMVs and other extras.

But get it, play it, and love it, regardless.

I'd suggest waiting, because FFVI on the PS1 takes too long to load, and in a couple months FFVI is going to be re-released for GBA which will be portable and probably load quicker than FFVIPS1

About how much (in US$) is a PS1 "used, but plays perfectly" copy of FF6 worth? I would prefer to get a ROM, or the GBA version, but I don't have a GBA, and can't find a ROM. Thanks.

My advice: get an emulator and the ROM. I'm playing the PSX version now, and I'm getting quite mad at it. Load times are a real pain.

yea, i would use emulator, for the fact of really slow load time and stuff like dat. but on the PS1 you can get some kool extras!

The GBA version's going to be very easy (which is saying something for FFVI), so a ROM is just the best obvious choice. Or, if you can actually obtain a NA SNES copy.

Edit: Yeah, NED's link is cool.
