What is your greatest acheivement in the massive game?

My greatest achievment is getting level 26, Bolt 2, Ice 2, and Finishing Touch with Cloud at the start of the game (first save point actually). Either that or beating Emerald the first time you can fight him (the first time you can use the submarine).

Mine would probably be getting Omnislash without the use of a Ribbon and using only 3 materia.

Mine is similiar to Sweetdude's...I was at level 47 by the first save point,along with a mastered lightning materia and not to mention a pair of BA fighters(Barret's no slouch ya know?)

47... That's extreme. You MUST have been at 99:59:59 by then too I assume. You say mastered lightening, why not mastered ice as well?

I never liked ice....just a personal thing, and yeah, my game clock was maxed, not to mention my gil count...whoo boy!

CoN's FFVII section does win hands down as the greatest achievement ever, but my personal achievement (becasue i was seven years old) was getting to the first save point at level 30 (they say time flies when you're having fun), and i did have finishing touch, but looking back that really wasn't that impressive, I was just so young I didn't fully understand RPGs.
So my other very impressive moment was killing cloud off, collecting mass amounts of sources and maxing out every stat I could (he was about lvl 15 when i had finished sourcing him up), I also sourced out cid in that game, but lets see if anyone else had stats that good at such a low level -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

Like Silverlance's was saying, most of these "achievements" border on simple tedium..........and mine is no different.
Stat maxing through sources, for everyone................it only took a couple years........... |

I killed Emmy with Kitten Sith's slots attack, in under a minute. I also Counter/Mimed it to death, although only a product of leveling my Materia in the Magic Pot swamp for a few hours.

Ok here's another achievment of mine without the tedium.
Beat the game with only Cloud throughout (except when he's in wheelchair) with no materia and initial equip - Buster Sword and Bronze Bangle. sans tedium eh...One shot kill to Diamond WEAPON, man I love slots.

My crowning achievement was maxing everyone out through sources, I think I was on that ship (forget the name) at the bottom of the sea for ages just trying to get tons of em. I also got a gold chocobo without using a faq which I thought was special. I didnt even see the faq with all the secrets and such until after I finished the game for the first time.

Haha, why didn't you save before you mated them?
It was quite fun beating the last Sephiroth (1 HP) with the Buster Sword I enjoyed that. I'm currently trying to beat Emerald with Buster Sword, only Cloud, Bronze Bangle and no materia or accessory. Also no Gelnika (spelling's poor) because I'm doing this the first time it's possible to fight Emerald. Yeah the Blue always refuses to sleep with her brother (Green). It's so time consuming. I just left the game on the world map and did somehing else...

What I do if I can't get the opposite is mate the blue and a yellow to get a green and vice versa. Instead of doing yellow with a yellow. Works everytime.

Stat buffing to 255 at least once on all characters is one achievement I can say was something I can be proud of. Though, now that I've done it, I have no reason to ever waste time doing it again, so that's also a plus. I've always wanted to get to level 99 in the first reactor, though...I think the record is 77-some hours.

Beating the game with everyone's limits, mastered materia, completed Enemy Skill, and Cloud's Villa in Costa De Sol (it's cool buying your own house, even on a video game).

'Fraid not, but as far as I know, the level-99 guy's time has been authenticated and accepted. It was part of a level challenge, I believe.

possibly getting yuffie to level up to level 88 with her ultimate weapon and max morph, and morphing emerald and ruby weapon as last hits was well funny, didnt morph into anything mind you.
