Ok I just picked up FFIV again and am a little confused. When I'm in a weapon shop or armour shop it won't say if the stats increase or decrease with the purchases. I remember the characters do a little dance if they can equip the item or not but thats it.. Is this normal or am I forgetting something?!? I haven't touched this game in at least 10 years so I'm a little lost lol. Any help is appreciated. Oh its the SNES version, like the good 'ol days!

Just to be sure I found a rom of the SNES version as well and tried that and it seems to be acting the same. This is too weird.

That's just how the game is.
It annoys me when I go back to it, too. If you're worried about whether something is better or worse than what you already have, the CoN does have a great FF4 guide... -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |
