I looked up Galuf from FF5 in Wikipedia and realized that his last name was Baldesion, which is identical to Cara's last name, but then I saw another one called Doe.
So, which is correct? I mean if he was the father of Cara's father's side, then why Doe? Or if it's the mother's side, then why Baldesion if he isn't in Cara's father's side? |

"Doe" is a term used to describe someone we don't know. You know the term "John Doe?" Remember that for the first third of the game, we think Galuf is some crazy old man with amnesia. We don't know that he is related to Cara, much less the king of Bal or a Warrior of Dawn. -CSM
