1: lean against a wall so that you only have three or two sides open.
2: Get the respective amounts of enemies to come surround you.
3: Kill them and use their corpses as meat shields against other melee opponents (doesn't work on lancers because they can stab over the one-tile unsteppable space created by the corpse).

This works very well on most battles involving only melee opponents, like some of the Deep Dungeon ones with the bull demons. Once you've got the corpses, it's like an invulnerable shield against melee enemies, unless, of course; the corpses disappear. Plus, there's an added bonus of being able to run if surrounded.

Yes, I got social skills of a rock. And I'm proud of it. Damn straight, I don't really trust people, even though I'm human myself. Even I don't trust myself sometimes. Gah! this is getting nowhere.

That would take too long and be too cumbersome to set up to really be a practical strategy to use.

Agreed.

LGR, Why do you feel the need to post all of these "strategies" when all of them are either not useful or common knowledge? If everyone's favorite FF VI "expert" AdventChildren9999 is to be a lesson worth remembering, then this forum is more for answering people's questions or creating "what are your favorite strategies?"-type threads rather than posting random bits of information.
