I'm going to apologize in advance for this poll... I just couldn't resist asking.

In case this question sounds familiar to anybody, it did come from the December 2006 GameInformer magazine. Thus I have posted... this should be interesting.

I think Neal and laszlow just tainted me by showing me those links.

But GameInformer gets the credit blame for proposing the idea. Seriously, I don't think Samus is even interested, much less in a Halo character.

And I'm pretty darn sure hell has to freeze over, pigs have to fly, and division by zero must be possible (for people other than Chuck Norris, of course) before Samus would be interested in Master Chief. For them to be the cutest couple and produce awesomest babies would require additional barriers to describe it, those being Dracula turning good, Professor X being not weak to stairs in places other than YTMND, the earth being officially renamed Corneria, and Sailor Moon becoming a hit opera series.

I've seen a trailer for Metroid Prime 3 that showed a few of the bounty hunters from Metroid Hunters returning and helping Samus. Since none of their names are very high-profile, I just thought Master Chief making a... cameo... would be a good joke, at least for Flash cartoons and such.

Well, I don't know about that aspect of MP3, but judging from all the existent games (except MPH and possibly MP2, both of which I haven't played), I personally estimate that Samus much prefers to work alone.

Additionally, I have proof that Samus does not seem very tolerant of incompetency.

However, that could just be the "you can't stick too many controllers into a video game console" rule working against Samus, so I don't know. So far, the one major adventure game that can only be played multiplayer (but never single player) is D&D, and that's not a videogame.
