This was one of the first PS2 games to actualy be good, and it came with a Metal Gear Solid 2 DEMO, which at the time kicked ass, and it still does. I remember when I started playin this game I was blown away, I had not seen such fast gaming since PSone's "Omega Boost". From the moment that little kid got into that super gear I was instantly hooked and always trying to see what was gonna happen next. Zone of the Enders is definately one of the best PS2 games ever, it had it all, gameplay, graphics, music, replayability, etc, anyway, this was a REAL video game, So, have any of you actualy played this game, or do you even know about it. Your toughts please...

I played it once. It was pretty much the first PS2 game I ever played. I thought that it was decent then, but its been a while.

My complaint with it is that it was way too short.

Hamedo echos my problem with the game. It had a great story and one of the best soundtracks I have ever had the pleasure of purchasing (Train and Ardjet alone are some of the most epic-sounding songs I've ever heard), but I finished the game itself within 8 hours.
I never got around to the sequel... if there was one. -------------------- Visions of Peace - Four Generals, One Empire, and the Returners caught in the middle. |

There is a ZoE 2 Ellesar.
I've seen my friend play it, and it did look action-packed. I suck at those kinds of games, so I just watched. But from what I saw, it did look cool. He got his off of eBay though...is this game rare or something? -------------------- |

Rare no, good yes. I heard of a sequel where the story suposedly takes place on Mars, but I searched for the game on gamefaqs and it doesn't appear, so I guess the sequel is rare.

This was the first game I ever owned for the PS2 so I am a huge fan. Z.O.E is one of the best series of games ever. There are 3 Z.O.E. games, Zone of the Enders, Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner, and a tactics game for the GBA called Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars.
Obviously every one here knows about the first Z.O.E so I dont really need to talk about it. Zone of the Enders: The fist of Mars is a great tactical game that I think is either the prequel to the rest of the games or is happening at the same time. I don't really know which one it is ,but regardless of what most reviews state I think overall it is a good game. The battle system is different from most tactics games. When you attack someone you actually aim at the OF(Orbital Frame) or LEV(Laborious Extra-Orbital Vehicle). When you aim there is an orange spot on the enemy which you obviously want to hit to do extra damage. I've only beaten Z.O.E and Z.O.E:TFOM but I have rented Z.O.E.:TSR. The Second Runner has a different main character but an older version of Leo Stenbuck is in the game. I really dont know much about this game so look at the review. You can see the full review of all 3 games at www.gamespot.com. There is also an anime about Zone of the Enders. There is Zone of the Enders: Dolores,i and an OVA(Original Video Animation) , Zone of the Enders: Idolo. You can find the reviews of the anime on www.themanime.org. -------------------- "Now!
