Do you guys, mostly the mods., think there is any way that there could be a section below the submissions that could be a section dedicated to music, posting created music, and posting sites to where to find music and such?
Does this sounds like a good idea, and is it possible at all, cause i know id rather find music and talk about music, since i play ff themes like every day! -------------------- <DrkMagimaster282> MWAHAHA. A new forum would be created only if the current level of discussion on the subject were enough to warrant one. Creating forums doesn't make people talk about something, it just shifts the discussion somewhere else.
You're welcome to talk about this stuff in existing forums (provided "where to find music" doesn't involve any piracy, of course). |

The number of music-related posts is quite slim. It's like if a request for a programming-related submission forum were made: perhaps only two people would be posting in it. Not much of a point to it...
Admittedly, having a new section would probably prompt people to come out of lurk mode and decide to post some things they otherwise wouldn't post currently. But let's face it: this is a squaresoft-related site, after all. Not a show-and-tell for everyone to post their rendition of song X from game Y, or their bad Sephiroth fanart. ![]() One section is plenty, IMO. Unless people have been holding back because no section is explicitely dedicated to music... -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

I only have 3 FF tracks on my computer, all FF7 (Weapon Attack, Shinra Corp, and One Winged Angel) and that's plenty for me. I don't think people would even come out of lurk mode; there have been a few posts about it, albeit closed quickly.
So, Silverlance's opinion is seconded. -------------------- Squenix games completed: FFIII FFIV FFVI FFVII FFIX FFX FF Tactics: Advance 2 Chrono Trigger Dragon Quest 8 Dragon Quest 11 Super Mario RPG |

Agreed. I really like FF music mainly from VII and VIII and VI and IX is nothing to sneeze at either, but I don't like it as a whole enough for a new forum section about it.
