I need help: Ican't quite get a move on at Kefka's tower, cause most of my people can't use the best spells, nor do good damage (Celes f.eg.) What should I do? At the moment I'm hunting Doom Gaze, can't seem to find him though.

i suggest just levelling up a bit. a great place to level up, i think everyone will agree, is Dino Forest [as I like to call it anyway]. It's the forest due north of the Veldt. You'll fight Tyranosaurs which give away a good amount of EXP and some Magic Points as well. Becareful though, for there are also Brachosaurs which are a pain in the arse to beat. So, I just suggest saving after every battle just in case you encounter a Brachosaur.

learn spells and things in the miranda desert with the hoovers and cactrots, and as said above, fight t rex's and brachosaurs in the dino forest by gaus fathers house for levels.

Yeah, you can get economizers from the brachosaurs. You could also get them by betting the gem box(s) in the colliseum.
The above mentioned leveling up sites are great, if you continue having trouble, try using vanish+Doom combo (Doom X-Zone, X-fer stone{sometimes} All work too) . It's recommended to build up to the forest or desert spots before you get slaughtered by the brachosaur. Anywho, if you ever decide to start your game over, you could try the Lete River loop. Just the only problem with the Lete River trick is that Locke is left with low levels, so you'll either have to level him up or face having killed every five seconds when you have to use him in Vector.

I remember using the Lete River trick a long time ago and having that exact problem, but when you've got three level 60 characters and one level 15 character, you'll get by just fine if that level 15 character keeps dying over and over. ![]() -------------------- Hey, put the cellphone down for a while In the night there is something wild Can you hear it breathing? the game has an automatic Leveling system for those people you don't use, for situations just like this, but it only really starts up when you get the airship and have a choice of who is in your party, only bad thing about letting people level up in the airship is they get half the EXP, and other disavantages that Gogo doesn't remember right now -------------------- stupid horoscope wrong again |
