Kinda' an extension of Sam's What's your favorite special class, here's to your favorite special skill. Yes, another "what's your favorite?" thread.
My favorite special skill is Night Sword for the capability of restoring HP from a distance with a mighty sword/knight sword. -------------------- "Thought I was dead, eh? Icewolf Bite, I love the animation and the sounds just makes it more painful for the target. I don't really care if I only broke an accessory and not the armor, I just find Icewolf Bite entertaining to watch.

My favorite special class ability that I have access to is Night Sword, b/c it's useful and looks awesome.
As far as including abilities I can't get..... no contest...... Velius' Seal. My favorite status effect is Petrification and Velius' version of the spell is just beautiful. Simple, Crisp, Quick, and Effective |

I'd have to say my favorite ability is Break, from Beowulf. It seems to have at least a 50% chance every time I use it, and I love statues.

Hmm, i'll say, Reis' breath attacks. Can demolish most enemies in one hit if at lvl 99. the holy breath can kill Altima in one hit if all 5 hit the same tile.
-------------------- --CounterStriker as much as FF (x)-er-- Reis owns all! Possibly more deadly than Orlandu at lvl 99. Yes, I got social skills of a rock. And I'm proud of it. Damn straight, I don't really trust people, even though I'm human myself. Even I don't trust myself sometimes. Gah! this is getting nowhere. |

I, too, would have to go with Night Sword: partially because it's just a great all-'round skill with a nice animation, partially because I used to roleplay as a dark knight and I abused the skill whenever possible (so it's kinda engraved in my head as one of the premier attacks to have).
Second...well, Icewolf Bite's already been said (and I love that one), and Snipe Skill's already got a vote (and I love that one, too), but I'd have to say that Galaxy Stop takes the cake as my penultimate fave. Global-scale status effects, doesn't take too long to charge, never in my grasp ever. Not being able to use it at my leisure makes my heart grow fonder for it. It's one of the few minor reasons that I would buy a gameshark for, too.  -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

Other then the Temple Knight using petrify, Id have to say my favorite is:
