Yes, it's Reis Dular from Final Fantasy Tactics. If you would like to see it that way, as i intended it. However, as this image is meant to show her 'Holy' side of the 'Holy dragon', it may be mistaken for a priestess.

First time I've ever done this.

Had a fiasco with the line tracing, some segments were unlinked.
NOTE: even though the pixels may be numerous, does not necessarily mean that i have gotten rid of every blemish. With that many pixels, its virtually impossible to perfect it.

Don't ask me how i got the JPEG file so compacted, i have no idea how 2455 x 2624 is 880KB. when I scanned the actual image it was 50MB

Please don't take this to be a vicious critique. Lord knows your work is far better than anything I could ever do.

The hand holding the book (bible) isn't closing it's fingers onto it. Looks like they are about to drop the book.

The nose is huge.

The details of the face are not very well defined.

On the bright side, I like the job you did with the coloring very much!

I say keep making work, and keep posting it here for us to view. There are some really good artists here that can guide you a helluva lot better than I can, believe me.

I would agree that the color is probably the pic's best feature. Some of the shading and blending you did is, in fact, pretty solid.

As for the rest of the pic, well, there's a lot that I would definitely fix, but you may want to just stick to what I feel are the biggest problems. For instance, your Reis doesn't have shoulders. Also, a couple things that I feel would help her face is some eyebrows and the white of the eye (even them big anime eyes, if that's what you had in mind, have a bit of white in them ). Furthermore, I don't really like how her hair seems to abruptly disappear behind her right shoulder. The way it's falling down, I, personally, would expect to see it continued under both her arms where only gaps exist. The size of the sleeves don't exactly match up, either.

Outside of those, the rest are simply issues that ought to impove over time and with practice .

One last note: I'm not sure how appropriate Christian symbols are in a story dominated by the Church of St. Ajora, but I'll leave that to your discretion, heh.

Console RPG Cliches

Your skills seem to be unbalanced. Your coloring ability seems to be quite a bit better than your skill at drawing human form.

I would recommend to take some time and work on your human form. Get more familiar with how the body moves, bends, and looks, and that should improve your skill a good bit.
