I had a very strange dream last night and I only tell the people of CoN about it b/c, CoN made an appearance. It was short, but then again, so was the dream itself.

I was on my college campus chatting with a newly re-acquainted friend of mine, when the instructor showed up, accompanied by music, a la movie trailer. So we file in and it's immediately apparent he's charismatic from the way he entertains the students and gains control of the class (and into CoN.....he was searching new posts).
.................................skip scene....................................
So, now I'm walking said friend of mine to her dorm, but it's raining and her dorm is now a crappy motel room on the second floor in the middle of nowhere (not really a huge stretch...it is a dorm). But we were being followed by some hunched over dude in a trench coat. The camera seems to zoom in on our hunched over companion, but we can't see his eyes, we only hear his laugh, and it's creepy. So, he starts to charge at us screaming......................so I sing. I'm belting out show tunes while dancing, and apparently I sing and dance so well even the rain stopped. So, he stops charging, throws off the coat, and it's this friend of a friend................who of course counters my singing with his own brand of justice ("Poliacci" I think is what it's called)

And that's when my alarm went off.

The words ''spelling'' and ''mistake'' come to mind. The phrase is ''à la''.

But as for the dream itself- one can only say ''QwertyWTK?'' I don't get it- I suggest you stop taking cheese at night, and that you remember that Dancing Mad is jsut one of Nobou Uematsu's tracks: not the other way around.

In other words, I don't know what you're on (about).

I'm well aware of the fact that ''à la'' is the correct term; however, short of copying/pasting your post, all admit I'm simply ignorant of how to re-produce it with my own keyboard.

The dream, was just that, a dream.

I didn't ask that you did. I thought it would be interesting to hear someone else's random dream.

[LIE]I apologize if you were unsatisfied with my post, O great Kefka.....please don't use the Light of Judgement on me[/LIE]

In other words, no need to freak out, bud.

I love these threads. I'll keep it alive for you, Kane. I'm chock full of weird dreams.

1) I had a dream I was in the middle of a forest once, but in the middle of the forest was this weird quiz show. So, naturally, I check it out, and I'm asked to be on it. It's a Latin quiz show: whoever translates the sentence correcltly moves on, and if you don't, you get thrown into this vast hole in the ground. SO I was going and winning (easy sentences), and then they bring in this "secret guest" or something lame like that. The guest was Gandalf, though! So he and I went at it for awhile until the host got bored and threw us in the pit anyways.

2) Ok in this one I was inside a calculus-bsaed video game. Note that I do not know calculus. So it was a 1 v. 1 video game and my opponant was the highest-difficulty CPU AI, who just happened to be our school's calc teacher. The point of the game was to integrate. That's it. If you do it within a time limit, you move on, if not, you get crushed and start over. I don't know calculus so I got trapped in the game for ages. It was a terrible dream, but prolly a really fun game if you know calc.

3) This is the most bizarre dream I've had. After playing Paper Mario (for the GCN) for a looooong time, I went to bed. In the dream, I was the time (as in the time on a digital clock). I was like 2:30 AM when the dream began. All around me floated a bunch of numbers that I recognized as the track number on my alarm clock (it plays CDs). The entire purpose of this game dream is to find the snooze button floating around and hit it with the hammer that Mario uses in Paper Mario. I swung it exactly like he did in the game, too. It was awesome. The track numbers are enemies, so I have to squash them, too, but the snooze button ends the level. I was 2:30 AM when it started, and I was 6:10 AM when I ended. Longest game ever. When I woke up it was 6:15 AM. Is it possible I was keeping real time in my dream? Who knows. All I know is that I demolished that game....I got to like level 70.

I used to have this dream where I walked into a movie theater, and there was a count down from 10, you know, like those old movies. But when it hit zero, it said, "The End", and the world exploded. It was cool. But kind of weird..

Or the dream where the moon kidnaps me...

I have lots of weird dreams, okay? tongue.gif

Kane's dream and Ceasar's PM Alarm Dream are weirder though...

Last night I had a nightmare. I only remember one part of my dream (I remember I dreamt of a bunch of other things, I just can't remember what they were), but that's probably because it was scariest:

I was driving in my car down an open highway when suddenly my music shut off, my interior lights dimmed to nothing, my speedometer started going nuts then went to 0, and my windows wouldn't work. And so I parked my car in the middle of a busy 4-way intersection (I'm not sure where this came from, it being in the middle of an open highway). I remember thinking I'd stop and go get help or something like that, so I ended up just leaving my car there. I came back a day later to retrieve my car, and I saw a parking ticket lodged under my windshield wipers. I dreaded opening it, and when I did, the ticket charge read exactly $6,007.11. The last thing I remember thinking was that my stepdad was going to find me and kill me - that's when my alarm went off. Thank God it did, because that was scary as hell.

The first part of the dream is very similar to what happened recently - I was driving from my Uni to my grandparents' house, and I guess at some point my alternator went kaput, and for the next 10 miles I was running on pure battery juice. Those effects above are exactly what happened to my car when I was driving, and I neglected to take my exit and drove/coasted into the driveway of a house a mile down the road. The people there were real nice and helped me get in contact with my parents (I don't own a cell phone). Long story short (replacing my alternator is a fun story in and of itself) I got my alternator replaced. As for the parking ticket, I did get one at the start of this semester, but I appealed it and the fine was waived.

Yeah, the dream doesn't make much sense, but do dreams ever really?

Wow, you're correct, weird dreams you do have.

The Paper Mario dream is insane, in a good way.

So, is Gandalf's appearance anywhere biggrin.gif

The appearance of well-known characters reminds me of the time I dreamt that
P. Diddy opened up an ice cream parlor in the neighborhood. My girlfriend and I went there for some sundaes and when I gave him the money for our ice cream, he handed me a nice roll of benjamins....and in the dream I knew exactly why.....I personally just don't know what that reason is.

To be relevant to the forum, I'll mention that I used to dream about FFT alot. Those dreams really sucked though, 'cause they were all about calculating turns and damage and I would always end up pretty frustrated cause my dream mind could never figure out the made-up numbers.

My Tetris dreams in contrast were great! No matter what piece I got they always used to fit to the pile and I got lines whenever I really needed them.

I had an Earthbound dream. For some reason, I had turned into a dragon that looked a lot like the Kraken Monster, with long fangs and no eyes after eating something. Perhaps it was laced with Dragonite?

Okay, okay, I had the weirdest dream the other night.

So, me and my two friends were in this weird video game. The aim was, play lots of minigames and get as many points as possible. But, being lazy me, I took a nice stroll around the town. (It looked a lot like Alexandria from FFIX.) For some reason, I looked behind this little boat, and found 250 points! I was really happy and ran to tell my friends, but one of them took my points and threw them on the floor, and they kinda... vanished. I was like, 'Lauren you bitch!!! That was 250 points!!! ARGH RAGE etc.'

And then, suddenly, I was walking through this street in my town, and (WARNING: DO NOT PEE IN YOUR PANTS) I was squeezing a bottle of ketchup on my head. I was having fun until I got to outside the chemist and I was like, 'WTF am I doing?' So I went into the toilets, and, the cubicles were like three feet high, and the toilet was full of crossdressing guys. I washed my hair in the sink and dried it in the hand dryer. And, as I was walking out of the door, some little girl got a big lump of wet toilet paper and just put it on my head, squish, just like that. After that nothing happened, because i heard my mum shout, 'Naomiiiiiiii! Get uppppppp!'
