It said I have one unread message and 1 message in my inbox folder.
Each message took 2% before. When I check staticstics, i have 3 messages total. (i think one was sent). pretty much i have 3 messages: 1 sent, 1 inbox, 1 new, but I can't view them. Of course I can empty my box completely but I would have no idea who send/and what was the new PM.... is this some forum bug or am I just being a nub? -------------------- I will be there... |

My guess would be that this has some connection to the data corruption that happened about a month ago. I don't think you have any new PMs. It's a little hard to figure out exactly what you're talking about, though: what is "It" that is telling you you have one unread message and one in your inbox folder? Where are the "statistics" you're referencing? Is this all on forum pages?

Right now I haven't done anything. ... hopefully not memory leak -------------------- I will be there... |

Sometimes when you view a page it doesn't refresh to the old one, so you might need to clear your cache. I get that "ghost" inbox message every once in awhile, too.

Well, if you're using Fx, you go into the Internet Options and find the tab that has the saved passwords options and the one where you can clear your history and saved "things," and there'll be an option to clear your cache. I don't have admin access on this, and I'm using IE to browse (sadly), but I remember the process being relatively the same.

For IE 5.0 or better, open your browser and go to tools>internet options. You should see a "temporary internet files" section under the general tab. To clean your cache, select the option "delete cookies" and then "delete files". When selecting "delete files", you will be asked if you want to remove offline content as well. Say yes.
This will wipe your browsers cache clean. This post has been edited by Hamedo on 1st March 2006 15:46 -------------------- Join the Army, see the world, meet interesting people - and kill them. ~Pacifist Badge, 1978 |

Deleting cookies isn't necessary, and will force you to log in again everywhere -- which is fine if you can remember your password or have it saved, but otherwise...
