A rough translation from what I could make out... If anyone can make better sense of what this kid is screaming, be my guest.

"God *** damn game start you son of a ****, I won't say it again! What the hell is this ***?!! Oh god, come on! LET ME PLAY!!! Ok, it's starting... *** ***!!! PLAAAAAY!!! Loading!? I'M NOT SITTING THROUGH THIS *** LOADING!! ...Ok, relax, relax, it's starting... it's starting... I killed him, son of a ***, I killed him, IAAAAERGHGHGHGHAAAAAAAAA *massive tantrum during which the keyboard is savagely raped against the desk* The escape key is missing, where is it, where is it...! I can do this... AAIGIIGHAHGHGHGGHHAAA!! IT'S NOT WORKING IT'S NOT WORKIIIING!!!! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, son of a ***... YES I KILLED HIM, I KILL YOU, ***I KILLED YOU, I *** KILLED YOU!!! WHICH SON OF A *** JUST SHOT ME AEIEIEIEAAAARRRHGHGHGIEIGHGHGHGHH!!! *keyboard raping ensues*"

Remember when we were kids and used to whip our controllers across the room because we kept dying on the same level? Man. I thought I was bad for taking a bite out of an SNES controller... smile.gif

This kid has serious issues. On a totally unparalleled level. Gotta love how he rapes the hell out of his keyboard then frantically looks for the escape key (the escape key specifically, even though any key will do.)

Heh, Tiddles and I were just watching that the other day from another site. He didn't remember as much German as you apparently do. smile.gif

Also, the game is UT 2004. Do you need more reason to come play a game or two with us? I didn't think so.

This isn't the one with that German kid is it? He was pretty angry...

I should just get it over with and watch it... eh.gif

Edit: It could be an act...Because I don't want to believe any child is that...impatient..?

Oh my dear lord.... that kid is psychotic. And I imagine his parents would have been plenty POd when they came home to find the slaughtered remnants of that poor keyboard. Scary scary scary.

@R51
Mmm... UT2k4... reminds me of college. Now if only I had it, I'd find you and Tiddles and... well, and quickly get myself fragged like a wet-nurse biggrin.gif But hey, it's the competitive spirit and whatnot that counts... or something. smile.gif

Anyhow, my german is poopy. This isn't, by far, an exact translation. More like a "this is more or less what he says"-a-lation. To be honest, the only thing I could make out clearly was the part with the escape key ("Wo ist es? Ich verlor meine unterhoseansammlung!" or something close to that.) The rest were just occasional words that more or less seemed to imply stuff (such as his repetitive use of "spiel" early on in the video.)

@Zeromus_X & Zero_Hawk:
It probably is a hoax. The kid has forced moments of "insanity," like when he laughs psychotically. I do that for kicks at work when I get buggy code to finally compile. tongue.gif The bit where he fishes for the escape key is suspicious; he suddently calms the bleep down nearly instantly and almost calmly looks for the right key instead of maniacally raping the indention where the key originally was with his fist like he does throughout the entire video. The whole flow of events is quite fast too (in the game for 2 seconds and already throwing a massive tantrum over dying.)

Still, wow. He really gave that keyboard something to think about. That ought to teach it to force his game into loading stuff and taking roughly 20 seconds to fully load and run.

The image of this fat geeky german kid hollering at the top of his lungs like a stuck pig while savagely beating his desk with his defiled, fatally wounded keyboard will haunt me for years to come.

"I want an oompa loompa now, Daddy!" biggrin.gif

Geez, I feel bad for that kid's poor keyboard...it's taking a Grohl-size beating, and it's still stickin' with it. And after watching for awhile, when the kid put his forehead up onto the monitor and his glasses flashed, I forgot he was speaking German and thought he had transcended vocal communication itself. I could see he wanted that thing to speed up.

Had I not known that was German, I could have sworn he was trying to do an impression of a Klingon mating call...or something tongue.gif .

It certainly didn't look too authentic to me, either, though. A camera close-up like that certainly raises some red flags for me.

Heh heh heh. I think I've seen a shorter version of that before. It kinda reminds me of how I used to act on my old computer. (It didn't work much.) But, no way is that real.

I doubt his parents would post it on the net if it were to catch him in the act; that's about as bad as the guy who filmed his son playing that creepy maze game and kept filming after the kid was crying. Oh wait. Yeah my bad, that's possible.

A keyboard, even a good one, is less than $25. Pennies. I wrecked a monitor with a few friends (a cheap one though, came out to $75 CND) because we wanted to see what kind of damagers we could do if we filled the casing with gasoline (well, about a 2L 7-up bottle full of it) and lit it. The result? Huge-ass motherfriggin' ball of fire. Luckily nobody got hurt, but we did get in trouble for my old man's gas tank (those red ones with a spout, not his car's, lol) turning up empty. Cost us $25 between the three of us and quite a yelling at, but it was worth it. Even though it was the stupidest thing we'd ever done. So... if we're insane enough to shell out $75 to blow up a monitor, I'm sure some fat german FPS addicts would find it in their hearts to scrounge up their allowances and shell out for a keyboard to weird us out. smile.gif God bless them germans kids.

Either way reeks of it being a set-up. There's no way that kid could've simply set a camera up for unrelated purposes, left it running while playing an FPS, then uploaded it on the intar-webbornet.

Unless someone caught him in the act, like the star wars kid. biggrin.gif

If his parents had secretly taped him while he was alone (as some parents do whenlooing for proof of their children's shortcomings) it's possible it might have been for some other purpose, like getting him help. I think we've all seem those bootcamp episodes that talkshows have. Maybe it's the German equivilent? Someone could have recorded the show and put it onthe net for all to see... just a theory.

This kid's playing Halo 2; although he's not speaking German, it's still almost as hard to understand what the hell he's saying.

Holy god. That is an intense game. But seriously, real or not, it shows what this world has come to. I mean, look at how easily the keys fell off that keyboard...how cheap our manufacturing is these days.

...

Er...yea that kid has issues. I know some kids like that who literally get that mad over nothing at all. It's pretty funny but you have to wonder sometimes. We had a German FES come over to our school last year, and those rants sound pretty familiar to what he said during some of our tennis matches (you may think I'm joking, but I kid you not....it WAS quite funny to listen to though tongue.gif ).

So yea, thanks for the entertainment, Runey! That poor, poor keyboard was mauled for our amusement. RIP, German keyboard. sleep.gif

and if MY kid were ever to talk to me the way this freak did his headset would have been ripped of his head, the system turned off, and he would be tossed into his room and grounded for a week or two. Not only that, the game system and all it's warez would be sold at an EB store the next day. I can't belive the mother just put up with it! Does no one do actual parenting anymore??? thumbdown.gif

Plenty of us do.

I would start by turning off his game, "clan match or not". If the verbal abuse continued, the X-Box would be getting unplugged and taken to my room, where I would probably hook it up for myself. >:-)

Oh, yeah... The kid would get his ass busted, too. None of that "time out" stuff for me, thanks.

Oh my God, that woman! Not only did she look like a mutated marshmallow, but I wanted to put knives in her. God Warrior indeed! That was a woman possessed by Satan!

And that kid! His foul language could curdle milk - no - it could curdle cheese. If I ever used language like that to my mother when I was 9 I would have been straight down the orphanage!

No kidding huh? Her youngest kid was shaking like a leaf. See, I'm all for people having their beliefs, but there was $50k involved. I mean... y'know? That's almost twice my savings, man! I could like... buy pizza with that. Until I die of cardial arrest brought on by cholesterol-driven artery cloggage. biggrin.gif

Well, seriously, there's such a thing as overreacting, $50k or not. So someone has different beliefs, big whoop. Smile, nod, and move on with your life ($50k richer happy.gif)

I am so being a father like you when I get myself one of those "kid" thing (heard eBay has good prices on 'em..) I'm waiting for someone to release a "shut the hell up" patch first though.

If that kid can talk to his mother like that, it's probably because this isn't the first time. Gotta take a stand 'gainst 'em while they're youngins'. *Smacks his palm with his decorative broadsword and growls. >_>*

By the way, that video is filmed from one of the people playing against him's point of view. The kid just didn't bother to shut off his mic, and one of the players he was up against probably started recording the moment the arguing started. >;D

About the German kid:

Wow. But it seems like it could be staged to me too. I mean what the hell could he be so mad at anyway?

The "christian" woman:

Hmmmm... I seem to remember that part of being a good christian is tolerance of others.....just a thought.

The 9 year old kid:

I blame this mostly on the mom. Seriously, there should be some sort of qualifications for being a parent (in a perfect world). It seems that parenting skills are diminishing these days. You have to get a good hold on your child's behavior through some kind of means. A good way to punish that kid would be to take the Xbox away for a looooooong while. That'd fix his wagon.
