on disc 3:

in the northen crater:

when the team split up, you go left, then you go down. in the cavern tere is a pink orb, looking like a materia, is it just to annoy you or can you get it?

You mean the hole where you can see Mako Energy? Or the waterfall? Because I believe you can press OK and get the item there as you jump; or your talking about something else.

I think what you're talking about is the Movers monster that reward you with high AP. http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/ff7/w_enemy.php?enemy=Mover

No it is a materia, you can get it although you have to time it right, hit ok button at the right time to get it. youll probably have to try it a couple of times to get it. and i believe its the Mega-all materia. it gives the effect of equiping an all materia to everything you have, quite handy. but you can get it

it's pretty tricky to get, I just kept jumping back and forth on the rocks tapping circle

eventually you should get it.

if you got turbo put it on circle and you'll get it.
