um well i fell stupied cause my last post sucked and this will to but umm how do i duplicate items call me a noob i dont care i just really want to know

if I remember right. You have a character with the two-swords ability, equip him with a shield in his top hand, and (the weapon you want to duplicate) in the bottom hand, then just go to the shop and select 'best fit' with him. Hit ok and buy it for however much it is (special items are only 5 gil) and you've got another of it.

I think that's right.

ok but i havent found a store that sell excaliber (witch is the sword i want to duplicate) does it still work even if when you choose best fit theres no wepon stronger than the eqiuped

There aren't any stores in the game that sell Excaliburs. If you do what KingDelita just described, though, you'll exploit a glitch that fools the game into thinking that the store in question does sell Excaliburs. Just try it.
