Hey I was wondering if Attack Up, Two Swords, or Two Hands affects the damage done by any of the special knight skills such as Lightning stab or shellbust stab. I know these rely on PA for damage but I'm curious if either of those skills increase the damage? Thanks.

Oh and does Defense up reduce damage agains any special skills in general?

Attack Up does work, at least for the All Swordskill attacks. I *think* it raises damage by 25%, but I'm not positive on that.

Two Swords doesn't work, sort of. It will just use the PA/Attack Power/special properties of the weapon in the character's right hand. Having Two Swords is really only useful for abilities that rely on the Attack command, like Battle Skill.

I don't know about Two Hands. I never use it, personally.

Defense Up reduces damage against PA-based attacks, I think. There's also a Magic Defense Up which presumably works for MA-based attacks. Again, I don't use either of those support abilities very often (Attack Up, Magic Attack Up, Martial Arts, Two Swords, and Gained JP Up are pretty much the only ones I use, I think...)

Two Hands should work. I never use it, but Weigraf does in the battle at Orbonne Monastery in the 1st floor (last level) of Orbonne Monastery after Alma temporarily joins you.

I'm pretty sure he actually has Martial Arts for that battle, which makes him a PITA even if you steal/destroy his sword.

Anywho, from both personal experience and the BMG, neither Two Hands nor Two Swords will affect the sword-skills. Attack UP increases damage 33% (multiplies PA by 4/3).

First of all, Two Hands doesnt increase any damages at all. It only lets you attack twice, but your a single sword slash wont be any stronger.
Two Hands only raises the damage of the weapon you holdwith two hands, so its not appalicablefor abalities such as lightning stab.Attack Up will actually increase your damages . and defense up will increase your defense in general
