Yeah, WA4 is really getting on my nerves, and not because it's hard or childish or any of that other junk. It's mostly due to XSeed, the localizing team , who've screwed up royally this time. In the course of the game, most know that one can get EX-File Keys to unlock bonuses in the New Game +. In WA4, there are nine, but it takes sort of a "bingo" approach, like so:

Code
[X][X][X]
[X][X][X]
[X][X][X]

By getting three "accomplishments" in a row, you unlock a post-game feature. Unfortunately for every single person who owns the game, two of the features are forever unable to be unlocked without the aid of a Gameshark/AR Max. Why? Because of XSeed. You see, one of the "accomplishments" is the Monster Library, which, if you fill it by fighting all the monsters in the game (235), allows you to open up the Character Library and Character Voice Library (provided you have the other accomplishments, too). Well, this just in: in the course of bringing the game to the US audience, XSeed switched some things around, and two of the monsters--Dalawa Bunny and Accident Rabbit--were not put in the game. Normally, this wouldn't cause a stir, but they are still in the Monster Library!. Now, because of this tic-tac-toe system they have, two of the NGP features cannot be unlocked. In response to this massive screwup, a member at the GameFAQs boards e-mailed the team, and got this reply:

Question:

What happened to Monster No. 013 and Monster No. 121? They were apparently some
type of Bunny in the Japanese version of the game, but don't seem to exist in
the North American version of the game. As a consequence, most players in the
U.S. are not able to complete the Monster Library and earn an ex-file key.

What's up with that?

Thanks

Dear Riata,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and please excuse the late reply
as it took us some time to figure out exactly what happened.

Basically, the Accident Rabbit and the Delawa Bunny were removed from the US
version for various reasons, but unfortunately they were not removed from the
monster guide due to an oversight. This means that the monster guide cannot be
completed 100%, as you had stated.

We apologize for this mishap and the inconvenience it has caused you and the
other dedicated fans that are trying to unlock all bonus contents in Wild ARMs
4. We hope that it did not distract too much from your enjoyment of the game.
