i'm wondering who you think are the best and worst artists in your favorite music genre, or in music in general.

i'm a rap fan, as some of you full well know.

Best- right now, i must the best is gotta be Papoose by leaps and bouds. his freestyle on Kay Slay's "Streetsweeper" mixtape entitled "Alphabetical Slaughter" is reason enough to nominate this genious. nothin but freestyles is what you'll hear from this man, and unlike some people who try to do this and fail miserably(some of which i know personally but won't name *cough*Solo*cough*), Papoose freestyles better than most artists can write.

Worst- my award(if you can call it that) for worst rap artist of all time goes to none other than the Trap Star himself, Young Jeezy. if you like redundant, repetitive, repitition, Young Jeezy might make you cream your tightie whities. to his credit, Jeezy does what he does quite well. the problem is, it's the same thing over and over. he has 2 albums, and three underground(i think) and all of them have the same song 15-20 times. it's Thug Rap 101, "shoot a hater, deal drugs, i'm the king, etc."

I'm not that big of a fan of Van Morrison or Jimmy Buffett, so they may or not be put on my worst list.

The best would be too many to list, but I'll name the late John Lennon who is my favorite musician of all time. Jim Morrison's and Jimmy Hendrix's lyrics and songwriting are some of the greatest ever. Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones deserve honorable mentions as well.
