Courtesy RPGamer...
Screenshots from the Playstation port of FF1 and FF2 are now available from Square, and boy do they look good. I was skeptical about the games with only hearing about the games, but now that images showing amazing CGI and a complete revamp in graphics and even a bit of storyline are here, I've changed my mind and wouldn't mind playing through these games at all. Anyone that was unsure of the game should definitely check these out and see if they change your opinion, and anyone that wanted to get the games the moment they heard about them will only want to get them more. http://www.rpgamer.com/games/ff/ffo/ffo.html -------------------- Hey, put the cellphone down for a while In the night there is something wild Can you hear it breathing? Nice. FF1 FMV's will be fun. They need to do this to FF3, dammit!

It's strange that everyone is saying the graphics have been completely redone, because they basically look the same as the WSC ones from what I've seen. This is the first Western release since the NES though, so they are "all new" compared to that, and the FMVs and improved music are new, for sure.

But he DID use the Final Fantasy name before the Origins part. So I'd say it would be voted in Square's favor. |
