I think there were more than 5, around then-ish for the main characters, but I don't know.

Personally, I'd like it to remain true to the original, but give a lot more HP to the bosses, something like 250000 for the first three of the final boss, then like 500000 for Kefka. And harder to get good weapons.

i wish they would go more into the past, like of shadow, and other players. i feel like they could have added more into everyones background to just develop the story a bit more.

i also like the idea of a new game + add on like chrono trigger. i always felt this game would be better with more endings and more secrets.

ooohh... what about a new game plus where you get to play as an individual character and find out about their pasts one by one?! ohmy.gif like...even as emporor ghastel, so you can see the raising of terra, training of celes and leo and seeing kefkas past and how the magitek experiments made him crazy

and more side quests!

i hope for the love of god they leave the spells names and espers names alone ( no fire 2 = fira, no ifrit = jinn)

Same goes for Shadow really. It's implied that he is Relm's father; nothing more needs to be said. If they do the whole revelation thing it will just make Shadow's suicide in the end more depressing.


that depression might be good to the story. i always wondered why shadow desided to leave his "wife" and why strago to leave relm with?

- Celes confessing her love to Umaro
- Sabin overtaking Edgar
- Leo being revived and finding out he's half esper like Terra ohmy.gif

We need an extended flashback sidequest: A dungeon based on Geshtal's rise to power. Obviously, it's pointless to add any more characters to the 14 at the end of the game, but you can have new ones to fulfill other roles. Geshtal, Kefka, Leo, and Cid as a party, fighting espers and developing MagiTek? Culminating with a battle with Tritoch as the game begins?

I'd think the New Game + would be a little like Bahamut Lagoon, where you start out with all your equipment and, most importantly, espers.

I don't want levels, and I can be perfectly happy without the equipment. Magicite!

This isn't a fan project, Square is porting the games to GBA. It will be released sometime later this year.

I think the vanish/x-zone method should and shouldn't be kept. If you would like to quickly defeat the boss (for some reason your in a hurry) but then you would be taking away the experience of killing something/someone and that's the only battle you encounter the thing/person. Unique experience...

Hm, well, maybe for notmal creatures like stuff you fight out in the feild, but not bosses, that kinda ruins the fun if you ask me unsure.gif but I am kinda expecting a whole removal of the glitch, as it was extremely exploited. Along with all of the other cheap kill tricks dry.gif

Also, I would love PvP via link cable, I always wanted them to add that wink.gif.

Guys i know that the scirpt is gonna be done by the guy who did the one for Star Ocean:Till the end of time have you played that? The one with Fayt Leingod and Maria Traydor? Well the new features i want are:


Diffrent ending with Locke ended up with ether Terra or Celes depend on who you always have with him.

Better translation like i said

More dreams of Shadow so that it confirms that he and Relm were father and daugther

Character trails like in Final Fantasy 4 for the GBA

Boss gauntlet like you said

Get inside Gogo's mind

An option to drop a spell

new weapons armor accs espers

new dungons

And fixed bugs

Oh and one more thing Sin is too big. for a 2d final fantasy.

what are character trails?
and a boss gauntlet should only be possible after beating new game plus... everything good u should get the 2nd time in

and pvp via link would work, you'd simply pick parties, and battle, but atm would be on active. also it'd be nice to be able to do stuff2 player via link, like the 2/3 party dungeons.

Realistically what I would like to see is-

A few new dungeons

New items/weapons/armor/relics etc.

Increased difficulty

A savegame+ feature like in Chrono Trigger

*maybe* a bit more character development, and more dialogue

Fix spell names and change GP to Gil.

Czar Dragon

Lunar Ruins style bonus dungeon.

Keep the one liners.

Make Cyan useable.

Fix Vanish/Doom, Vanish/X-Zone, and Rippler glitches

Either remove Merit award, or at least stop Gau from equiping it. it kinda defeats the purpose of him

on the same note, make Gau easier to use

End the controversy over Gogo already. if I hear one more mention of the Gogo=Adlai Stevenson joke, I will go berzerk and smash some heads. not really, but you get the idea.

Make it easier to find the Figaro Castle shops.

Additions to FFVI:A? Here comes my wild imagination...

1) Insane new bosses!
a) Zombified General Leo!! You could fight him at his grave in his graveyard, and he wouldn't instantly die if you Life'd him, Pheonix Down'd him, or Revivify'd him. When you kill him, he'd drop like an Excalibur or Illumina or something.
B) Czar Dragon : Read the other posts..
c) A boss at the end of the Sealed Esper Cave.. I was annoyed when I went through all that work just to find myself back at the Imperial Castle Place talking to soldiers...
d) Atma Weapon... number 3
2) Insane new dungeon places!!! Maybe you could have Shadow and Relm in the same group and go to Doma Castle and sleep in the beds there.. Then Shadow will have a nightmare and then you gotta save him from evil demons and stuff, then it'd all be dramatic and crazy..
3) Insane new... espers? Remove Ragnarok (esper) from the game so you could get the sword, then have Bahamut teach Ultima at x1 limit.
4) Insane new ... items....Paladin Ring..?
5) Allow you to customize the list of Gau's Rages so you don't have to scroll everywhere trying to find your Stray Cat ability.
