Is Steve Jobs owner of Apple or something? If so, he wins. He has CULTISTS. No one cares that their using Windows or who Bill Gates is. Whereas every Mac owner I've spoken to is die-hard either anti-Microsoft or pro-Apple Mac. Or both.
If it comes to fisty cuffs, Steve Jobs has loonies watching his back. I gotta go with BASSsic. Steve Jobs has a computer line named after a fruit that tastes very good in pies, and he has iPods. On the other hand, Bill Gates just has a buncha computer software that likes to break down. And a big clunky box with an "x" on it.

It would be a close match. Steve has the aforementioned army of cultists watching his back, while Gates has the power to drown his enemies in seas of money. Ultimately I think Steve would take Bill down, only because nothing, and I mean nothing, can stop the bloodthirsty craze of a Mac fanatic's devotion.

Bill Gates can slap around most mortals with his massive money wad, not to mention, he's so rich he's got God on his payroll, the only problem is that he'd, much like his software, freeze and crash at random points during the fight and bog down the whole event.
Then again, Steve Jobs is crazy. Anyone affiliated with an iPod or it's creation is a direct subordinate to Lucifer himself, which means he's gotta be a tough one. Still, in the classic case of Money v.s. anything, money always wins. It won't be long before Gates gets jealous and either buys off iPod or launches his own uber-over-marketed music and video portable playback device. He'll probably make it really ridiculously big too and call it an X-box. Oh, wait, that's been done? Fine, the X-rectangle. or the X-pod. So Gates v.s. Jobs = Gates buying Jobs soul before Jobs even realizes what's happening and suddenly, Apple and Macintosh are facing bankrupcy again. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

You have all missed the point. The fight is to the death. Jobs just doesn't have what it takes to kill a man. Gates has no compunction about ripping Jobs's still beating heart from his chest before dousing it in gasoline and lighting it ablaze, cackling madly.

Until The Ancient's post, I was inclined to say that Steve's cult would help him win, but... only Gates could lay a finishing blow.
Although... what if one of Mac worshippers killed him instead? Or would they wait for Jobs to give the word? Hmmm... My personal feeling is that with all that money, Gates has most assuredly "upgrading" into some sort of super cyborg and no amount of fanboys could end his bloodlust.....er fluid-lust as it were

It should be noted that since Jobs now pretty much owns Disney and Apple, Gates no longer has the upper hand in terms of communication empires. Also, this still don't matter since Gates is still a stick that can be blown over by any sizable wind, so Jobs could whomp him easy no matter what, along with anyone else with over a hundred pounds on 'em.

Bill Gates would win of course.
He's ruthless, unlike Jobs as mentioned already. Like a lot of hard core cage fighters, he has been arrested. I'm sure Jobs has too, but probably nothing as badass as Gates' record.
