Yet another pic of a seemingly fanbaseless character whom I felt sorry for. Also, I got to be a li'l more creative with this one, so... yeah.
For those who don't remember, Kelgar/Kelga is one of the Warriors of Dawn geezers in FFV. To clarify further, he's the wolf dude. Truth is, I ran across an old drawing of a caninelike creature's head and felt compelled to finish it. And although the concept art depicts him with a pair of swords, he just struck me as a guy who'd use a primitive, gigantic stone club like a caveman stereotype... or somethin'. For some reason, it seemed awkward to draw him standing upright on two legs even though he, y'know, does; standing in a four-legged (three-legged?) position as he is here, however, didn't seem awkward, but it probably shoulda. In retrospect, this was mainly an opportunity to (hopefully) warm up a bit more to coloring on a computer, which I'm still rather amateurish at, and to be criticised there about. Click me! Well done. I don't know the character you referenced in it's making, but the drawing stands on it's own merit well enough.

Heh, cool. (He reminds me of that thing Leila has in Futurama...don't know why though.) Kelga is one of the Warriors of Dawn right? (The werewolf one.)

Getting better all the time. I think the colors seem nice and rich on this one. Also the pose is well done. The mouth looks good too.
Only things I think could use some work are his tail and the that line of fur in the middle of his back left leg. That line of fur just doesn't look good there in my opinion. You're definitely getting better using the computer to color your pics. If you want to improve a bit I recommend using more levels of shading, instead of just the 3 normal, highlight, and shade levels. -------------------- -- You're Gonna Carry That Weight -- |

I see where you are trying to go with the warriors of dawn thing...pretty cool, but the fact that it is almost like a chibi or neopets style character is creepy...make it more lifelike, and for goodness sakes, make it stand on 2 legs plz...hehe
