go to the ranch and talk to chocobo billy to put it in a stable.
then it should show. Afterwards ''talking' to you chocobo wil show it as well. -------------------- It takes 2 people and a weapon to commit a murder Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is mystery, today is a gift, thats why we call it the present. |

The gmae actually has a built-in database, which describes what enemies the chocobo will be placed with, and its position in the enemy party. I had this written down, but i forgot where i put it. Once someone figures it out, its pretty easy to figure out what chocobo you have when you enter the battle

I found a similar site: http://www.kuponut.com/index.html?ilogo.ht...cobo_breed.html
Lists all the chocobo types, locations, and paired monsters and the such. Other tip: I have NO idea if this holds true for everyone's game but I noticed when I did chocobo breeding, to get a certain sex of chocobo depended on the order I bred my chocobos. For instance, when Chocobo Billy askes you at the ranch what two chocobos you want to breed, and I picked the female parent and THEN the male parent, the resulting chocobo was always female. Vice versa works too: pick the male parent, then the female parent, and you get a male chocobo baby. ![]() I seem to recall also doing the mixing of orders to get the mountain and river chocobos (male then female got one type and the same parents but breeding female then male got the other type). Myself 007 is correct though: Chocobo Billy at the ranch will inform you of your chocobo's sexes. You can also see it when you feed your chocobos, I do believe.
