I know most of you here have done at least one scc, and am simply wondering have you ever given yourself any extra rules like having to get all the summons and such or beating all the bosses? just wondering.

A couple. Ive never done an SCC with beating the super powerful bosses, but I get every spell/summon in all the ones I do.

Oh sure, I don't have to get kicked in the junk to activate it, but I like it anyway. -- Thief commenting on the difference between Throw and Blue Magic.

Same here. I don't consider the SCC complete unless I get every spell I can get and kill every enemy I can within the confines of the challenge. For example, I skipped Gogo with the Berserker SCC because he is impossible with them, but I did him with everybody else. I didn't do Omega and Shinryuu with any of them simply because I don't have the patience. So an SCC, to me, means getting every spell in the game and defeating every boss except for Omega and Shinryuu.

It just makes it a little harder and more complete.

I see, so all the bosses and spells soudns interesting I will definatly be doing these in my scc now that I have heard this.

Since you're doing the Berserker SCC, I suggest reading some of the pages in our FFV SCC thread, in which I documented my progress on the said challenge. There are some helpful hints in there for later bosses like Sol Cannon and Atomos.
