After the Rose bowl, i am would defenitly not be surprised if Vince Young wins the Heisman next season. If he doesnt, i would likey be surprised, that TD at :19 left on the 4th quarter still amazes me.

I voted no, because I think he'll win the rookie of the year award for the Houston Texans.

If he comes back to college he has a shot but he will have stiff competition from Troy Smith of Ohio State. I still voted No though cause I do believe he will (and should) go into the NFL now. I still think the Texans will take Bush and you will see Young wearing a Saints jersey next year.

Vince Young has no reason to return to Texas next year. His draft stock can not climb any higher than what he attained in the Rose Bowl.
I think the Texans SHOULD draft him. He's a player who can turn the entire game around with one play once he gets fully into the NFL level, something that David Carr won't be able to do, even with a half-competent O-line. Not that Carr is exactly a bust, because he is a pretty good QB. But I have to believe that he is not the future of that franchise. Trade him for a couple of picks or some offensive lineman would be the best bet. Another reason the Texans should draft Young is the fact he's a hometown hero, meaning hie'd draw a lot of local attention, something a struggling team like the Texans need. Plus, Domanick Davis is more than a competent RB. Long and short of it, the Texans will get to the playoffs sooner with Young than Carr. Let the Saints bicker over Bush and Leinart, then the Titans will take the remaining pick. So no Heisman for Young. But I'm going to drive the Brady Quinn for Heisman bandwagon. The kid improved ten-fold over the last two seasons, and I'm looking at next season for his Heisman-esque year. ![]() - Not to get semi-off topic, but I'd rather discuss it here than create a whole other topic about it. Marcus Vick was thrown off the VT team for his stomp heard 'round the world. I personally was not expecting this stiff of a punishment, but I certainly think it's the right move. Marcus has gotten into repeated trouble and seemed like he was immune to anything just because his brother was the superstar QB for the Falcons. Well, I'm glad his name couldn't get him out of trouble this time. Question is, since he'll probably enter the draft rather than try to transfer, would any team take a gamble on this goon? -------------------- "When I turn the page The corner bends into the perfect dog ear As if the words knew I'd need them again But at the time, I didn't see it." ~"This Ain't a Surfin' Movie" - Minus the Bear |

I said maybe, it all depends on if he comes back or not. If he does, I don't see any reason why not, or else if he doesn't he gets the big N/A.
