Hey i just saw these yesterday, they're great!. Yeah the voice's aren't all that great, but they do fit how the character act. I saw them at "flashplayer.com" you should check out 8-bit D&D

The 8-bit Theatre animations for the original episodes have been around for a while though, haven't they? I remember seeing them ages ago, or maybe I've just gone completely crazy.
At any rate, I love the strip, but adding voices doesn't do much good in my opinion. It sounds so much funnier in my head than it does outloud. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

Check the "Other Submissions by TLF" menu in the lower-left and you'll see links to all five episodes. The first one is dated from December of 2002.
In any case, I've seen the first four before (I only just now noticed that a fifth one was made recently), and they're fun, but the originals are funner. The best part of any of them is by far the awesome intro to the fourth episode. -------------------- |

Ugh, had to quit watching... the voices were terrible IMO. I'll stick to the comic.
BTW, Hi, I'm Chapin! |

I remeber seeing these a long time ago on flashplayer.com. I liked BM's origional voices in the first two episodes. They were pretty funny back in the day.
Of course, my family and friends always refers to 8-Bit D&D as an Inside joke at random times -------------------- Neneko is Neneko because Neneko couldn't be Neneko if Neneko wasn't Neneko! --as quoted from Neneko, Mahoraba {Heartful Days} I can stab a man with a thick paperback book thru the ribcage. |

They're not THAT bad, methinks, but the voices are really just due to the fact that... I mean, how SHOULD Black Mage sound? I don't know. As Dragon_Fire said, it's just funnier in your head than aloud.
4's intro pwned. -------------------- The island bathes in the sun's bright rays Distant hills wear a shroud of grey A lonely breeze whispers in the trees Sole witness to history ICO-You were there- |

The're good, but 8 bit D&D is better.

8-bit theatre is funny to watch butt allas, D&D is better ( "are there any girls there , cause if they are i wanna do them")
![]() -------------------- They may be monsters, but they're sea monsters. What're they gonna do? Flop around on deck and suffocate at us threateningly? |

8-bit theater makes me happy, not in the pervy kind of way, but the content way.
More to the point at hand, the animation was pretty good, but I agree, the voices could have been done a little better |
