I want to get all those ultimate weapons at Mt. Ordeals, but I'm not a high enough level. I tried to get Yang's weapon and got killed very quickly. Where is a good place for me to level up and what level should I be to fight the bosses?

Well, If It's FFIV Advance, it shouldn't be that hard to level up...The Cave of Trials (or whatever It's called) is a good place, but if it's too dangerous, the underworld (sylph and summon caves) are good places. Just make sure you have float. Then, later, you can try the moon. (Cave Bahamut). That's what I always thought were good places to train. (But...It really is very difficult to be underleveled in the advanced version...)

i can make my way through the cave of trials with no problem. I don't get that much exp from the enemies but when I get to the end I get killed by the dragon guarding yangs weapon, very quickly.
I can also make it through cave of bahamut easily, even past the behemoths, but once again Bahamut kills me in one hit. Should I just make Kain jump? -------------------- My name is Atma...... I am pure energy... and as ancient as the cosmos. Feeble creatures, GO! |

Behemoths only counterattack (though this may have changed in gba?), so you can use protect, haste, etc, and then pound on them. they give alot of experience.
As for Bahamut, you should try to cast reflect on the pary, or use the lunar curtains. (It's possibe to do it to your whole party in this version.) , then, his Mega Flare will Reflect off, doing 9,999 damage back to him. You could try Jumping when the timer hits "2", but It'll take really long..(Imput the Jump command at 2, so he actually does it at 1 or so.) But Reflect is easier... But overall, If you can survive Bahamut Cave, you should be able to do the Core of the Moon then. The Weapons in the Cave of Trials aren't too great, at least compared to the weapons in the Lunar Ruins...meh. Are you really going to be physically attacking with the twins anyway? -------------------- |

I say the Lunar Ruins once you get access to it.
