Thought I'd send another fanart I did ... Well it was last year actually. ^^;

Hee hee hee, wow, nice pick! The thing the caught my eye first was the wing...because it looks like it was just scribbled on there and, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to fit well (to me, anyway) with rest of the image that seems so carefully composed, otherwise.

I really like the background on this. Really cool. The blue shading is also very nice, and the detail to her hair is good too. How big was this originally?

I wanted the wing to glow, and it didn't seem like it would have the glowy effect I wanted with the same lineart as the rest of her. And it's supposed to look angelic of something. ^^;
I also did this over a year ago before I got my tablet, so I had to draw it in with a mouse.
Size-wise it was originally 1500x1000 pixels roughly.

The feathers were done by using a soft bruse on a lower opacity and making a kind of tear drop shape, then using the smudge tool to ruffle the edges like feathers blowing in the wind.

Yeah I kinda have a thing for wings. ^^

Nice, but the wings look like a 7 year old scribbled a thick wing on her back. I think you should add in the details to it or just take that off.

Not trying to be a critic, but her facial expression doesn't really define Aerith very well. Probably it's her eyes; they look a bit closed. I think it'd look better if they were wide open.. She looks like she's sad.

It doesn't scream Aeris at me, but it does scream quality. Awesomeness. The wing seems a little off, but it really suits who Aeris is. Brilliant.
