With me applying for a job at the local supermarket, I have seriously though of the DS being my first new system in over 3 years. Many people I know don't like the DS, but I know it has good games. So CONers out their, tell me what DS games you like (both out right now and in production)

List of games that I know will be good (updated):
Advance Wars DS
Dawn of Sorrow
Warioware: Touched
FFIIIj
Meteos (forgot about that)
Mario Kart DS (forgot about that too)

And is it true that their is a Mario & Luigi game for the DS. If their is then my heart may suddenly stop in happiness. wub.gif

The only DS games I am interested in are Dawn of Sorrow, Dual Strike, Mario Kart DS, and Meteos. It is extremely likely that I will have a DS by the new year and at least two of those games, and the only upcoming DS games that interest me are FF IIIj and the next DS Castlevania (which has already been announced, but there is otherwise no information on it).

Edit
Crap, I forgot about the new M&L game. Yeah, it exists and it's called Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. I really enjoyed Superstar Saga, so I guess I'm interested in this one too.

My complete list of games I have played and love:

1. Phoenix wright: Ace Atourney
2. Mario Kart Double Dash
3. Advanced wars: Dual Strike
4. Castlevainia: Dawn of Sorrow
5. Meteos
6. Kirby: Canvas Curse
7. Bomberman (single cartridge multiplayer)

Games I have yet to play but have high hopes for:

1. Animal Crossing DS
2. Trauma Center: Under the knife
3. Sonic Rush
4. Viewtiful Joe DS
5. FFIIIj DS
6. Metroid Prime Hunters
7. Mario & Luigi (forgot the subtitle completley)

(list may be subject to change)

As an extra- Phoenix Wright night be one of the best handheld games I have EVER played. It's that awesome. Other than the fact it has little replay value due to its linearity, there is no reason you could hate or not love this game. It isn't exactly the best use of the DS screen, except for chapter 5, which presents some truly awesome mechanics. It does, however, use the concept of two screens well. I suggest this to anybody as a rent seing as it is totally linear, and there are no extras.

That's 'cause Phoenix Wright was originally a Japanese GBA game that was ported to the DS. The 5th chapter was added to the game specifically to make use of the DS's mechanics and graphics.

Ones I've played and love (in no order):

- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
- Kirby Canvas Curse
- Super Mario 64 DS (the extras and minigames place it above the original)
- Trauma Center: Under the Knife
- Nintendogs (shut up tongue.gif)
- Meteos
- Mario Kart DS

Ones I would like to play/own:

- Metroid Prime: Hunters
- Final Fantasy III
- Animal Crossing: Wild World
- Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
- Jump Superstars (import)
- Super Monkey Ball DS
- Battles of Prince of Persia
- Bust-A-Move DS
- Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana

And probably other that've slipped my mind.

Haha, I got second in the UVA Gamers Club Trivia night last Wednesday, and one of my prizes was Super Mario 64 DS. I don't have a DS yet, but I was still happy to get that as a mystery prize.

But yeah, my list of wanted DS games is still the same. Meteos, Dawn of Sorrow, Dual Strike, Mario Kart, and Partners in Time. Still waiting on FF III and the next Castlevania.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is really good. And Wario Ware: Touched is really mega-super-hyper addictive. I still have to get Nintendogs and Advance Wars though. smile.gif
