I think you want to head to Toroia. As I remember, it's northwest of Baron.

Troia. Remember NOT to buy metallic weapons(Cid will be fine, Yang will too, as well as Tellah. Cecil, give him a puny bow and arrow) and NO metallic armor either. So, no wonderful Mythril equipment(fly around and see an island with just a tiny town on it. That would be the "Mythril Village", and you'll know it is if you see pigs and stuff.
The next part, and arguably the most annoying to get through, is the Metallic Cavern. A mysterious force destroys your ability to have metallic weapons and armor. If all characters have them on, in battle, everyone will be Paralyzed which equals a GAME OVER. But anyways, I suggest buying some Mythril equipment so that way you can equip them at a certain point within the cave.. |

Buy the metal. It makes the elf battle easier and will come in handy later. Also- I usually just run through the cave skipping most battles. My guys all go Commando if you get my drift.

I'm pretty sure you have to run around in the forest next to Troia and find a Black Chocobo to get to the cave.

Mog Master is right. Go around to that lil island nation that was mentioned earlier and get all the best weapons and armor you can, metal or otherwise. Then go 'round finding all the best non metal shiz ya can buy/get. Assuming you have the cash and you haven't sold a lot of the items you've stolen from the boxes littered about the land, get the best you can for Cecil and Yang first out, then fight a lotta monsters for more cash till everyone's peachy keen. It's the one time in quite a while where your next task isn't forced upon you, so take the time to stock up right and get your accounts secure. The cave is real hard if your levels are low since you wont have your good shit till the very end.

I actually said it first, but whatever.
I would suggest leveling to at least 27 or 28, try to get everyone besides Tellah to 1000 HP or more. It feels better if you have craploads of HP |

Be sure to bring lots of (Cure) Potions. Everyone is going to have to have RubyRings, and Cid and Cecil will have to drop their Armor. Give them either Gaea Robes or Karate Suits, whichever's better (I usually go Gaea on Cecil, Karate on Cid. Same goes for Gaea hat and Headband). Yang's Claws will be unaffected. You can give Cecil a bow and Arrow or a Cure Rod (you don't lose as many Potions and MP this way). There is a point where you can re-equip metal, so be sure to do it or be screwed.

Firstly, as sephiroth said, you have to find the black chocobo forest north of troia. Once you have found one fly it up into the forest near a cave. Guess where that is!(balck chocobos aren't actually black, they are purple
Secondly how come when i went in the cave, yang was paralyzed. You all said it has no effect on him! -------------------- One born of a dragon Bearing darkness and light Shall rise to the heavens Over the still land Yeah whatever, nobody really cares |

You all said it has no effect on him! that's because of some equipment he is wearing. his claws are unaffected but he still gets it if he has something on that's metel. i was around level 30 to 35 in this place.. maybe even higher. piece of cake. -------------------- |

I don't remember what level I was, all I knew is that all my characters besides Tellah had 1000+ HP, just to feel good.

By that point, Yang and Tella typically have the Silver armlet on. Make sure you are wearing the RubyRing. There is no other metallic type of armament he can wear.
