My favorite character from Super Mario World is Boo Buddy. I think he's the most misunderstood enemy. He doesn't mean any harm, he's just lonely and wants a friend. It's not his fault he hurts Mario any time he gets too close.

If we're just doing the SNES era, I have to go with Bowser. He's been an effective villain throughout the series, and his iterations in SMRPG and SMBSG have been hilarious.

Aww, don't kick your self too much for forgeting the Yoshter Adam. Afterall, you'll have to kick yourself for forgetting Toad too.

Anyway, it should be obvious who I picked. That's because when I say I'm a Mario fan I mean I'm a Mario fan. Most of the others are cool too but to me, Mario's the absoute best. In fact, he's my hands down favorite video game character ever. It's been that way ever since I picked up my first video game too, a Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt combo cartridge. That game was great fun for me and it was the one that got me started on video games. (In fact, some of my earliest memories are of me being killed over and over again by that first goomba. I really hated that little guy until I learned that you can just jump over him. [What? I was about four years old and never played a video game before that. Give me a little break here.])

Bah, I missed the subtitle to this topic last night so it looks like I have to kick myself too .This raises a question though, why wasn't Toad in Super Mario World anyway? Yeah, I know it's Dinosaur Land and not the Mushroom Kingdom. However, he was all over the place in the older Super Mario Bros. set of games. Odd. . . .

i picked other because i dont like that selected group. and i found that i dont like evil guys in that selection because they aren't evil enough.

Aww, I wanted to vote for the Giant Goombas in Mario 64. =/

Well, since the topic is Super Mario World, I'd have to say that the oversized Bullet Bills (forgot their real name) were awesome. You'd be walking along and all of a sudden the entire screen bottom would be a bullet barrelling towards you.

You gradually learn those little ruts in the ground signify an upcoming Bullet Bill, but I like to think Mario's head comes clean off. It's physically impossible to duck that low.

Luigi, I dunno, he's just funnier and wackier than Mario.

Yoshi, he's 15X more useful than Mario and Luigi combined, and plus, he never dies when in a collision with the goombas or other enemies!

Now I WAS going to vote for Yoshi, but since their was no Yoshi, I went with Boswer. You gotta love that kickass clown machine thingy that he rode in.

Bowser, just because of that stupid flying clownface cannonball bowl machine flying airplane thingy whatnot yeah blah. For a short time during my youth, I tried to fly up there and stomp him in the head. That was a bad idea.

yoshi was one of my favs in SMW, but the Blue yoshi wins in color hands down. However, best mario character in general has got be Toad, esp. since he owns all in the mario kart games, either way Toad rules.
