Who is your favorite Sonic the Hedgehog character, id make a poll but there is soo many characters to make a poll, my favorite has got to be Sonic, other favorites include Knuckles, Espio, Amy, Shadow, and honorable mention to Tails and Eggman as well. But overall Sonic takes the cake.

Id have to sayyyyyy..... Shadow! Hes just awsome. He looks so cool ! I like how they put a character on blades. Hes just so suave(smoooooooth,man)!

My favorite is definitely Cream. She doesn't have the best background, but shes fun to play and she has fun moves. (Cream Cheese! This kept be laughing for hours, and I don't know why) And shes orange.

My favorite is definitely Tails. I'm generally a fan of all multi-tailed characters

Tails was always my favorite from a young age.

I'd say Knuckles. I always preferred playing his side of the quest in Sonic & Knuckles; likewise in Sonic 3 when combining the two carts.

Prior to Knuckles' introduction, my favorite character was Tails. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is probably my favorite game in the series, and he's a large part of why. The downside is that, when using both him and Sonic, Tails always gets in the way! I'll attempt to have Sonic bounce off an enemy in order to reach a higher ledge, but Tails will seemingly pop outta nowhere and kill off the enemy instead, thereby robbing me of my chance to quickly progress or acquire a particular power-up. That doesn't take away from his character - it just goes to show that the duo's sense of teamwork is a lot better than how they actually perform together in the games.

I have to say Robotnik (calling him Eggman seems weird now...). You have to admire his determination and interesting choice of weapons, plus he's quite an amusing insane scientist in the Dr. Wily mold.

I would have been a tails fan save for what SilverFork just mentioned. Damn guy was always lagging behind and teleporting to catch up and just being a nuisance in general. So I'd go with Sonic. If I cared. I just wanted to say that Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was a great game but Tails was annoying.

Uh, probably Tails. I've not played too much Sonic, but I do like his flying. He always amused me when I used to watch the cartoon as a kid, too - Sonic tried too hard to be badass, in my opinion.

Definitely all about the Knuckles. Dude had some awesome abilities that you really couldn't go wrong with. I can't recall, though, if you could turn into Hyper Knuckles in S3 or S&K? Anyways, the wall climbing and gliding thing was definitely awesome. He was also a very interesting character in the comic series, too. Definitely the cool and calm type, though with a slight tendency to be hot-headed, much like Sonic, if I recall, though much darker.

Havn't play much Sonic, but my Favorite has been Sonic, since he was the first one I ever used, and the only available back then when the Genesis came with the original Sonic. I was amaze that a 2d character could run at such amazing speed, plus the stages where quite amazing, and the Robotnic boss fights where very entertaining

Knuckles, hands down. his levels in Sonic Adventure 2(the only sonic game i ever really got into) were treasure hunting stages. not as fast as snoic or shadow's level, but i just generally enjoyed them more.

Why is it that rpg's are now a dying breed?

He is getting his own game, actually. =p

Anyway, I'm not really fond of the 'critter' characters, but Robotnik is always been kind of a fresh boss. Inventive and resourceful (well...not enough to win), he always makes sure to keep Sonic's quick-footedness intact. I also like how he's ridden around in that little upside-down propeller thing before, too--reminds me of Bowser at the end of SMW.

Tails has always been my favorite. Even though he's annoying sometimes, gameplay-wise, he's always been just an interesting character. Knuckles takes a close second.

first comes knuckles ( he could float a bit and climb on walls
then shadow (cmon he dark and almost evil^^)
then tails. ( he could fly and was in some earlier parts of sonic games invincible ok he could die but he always came back )
