Saw the commercial for it. So far, it looks like this is right.

Definitely a brilliant, and accurate, comic. I do so love VG Cats and there ability to tear stuff to shreds. Love it.
Shadow, not so loved. Peace, boyeeeeeeezzzzz.... teh fuh? -------------------- Games on the Go Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy: Four Warriors of Light Baldur's Gate Too much to play, so little time! Greg |

Agreed. Its just not the same franchise if you take sonic, change his fur to black, and give him a gun... WTF (course I'm saying this with little familiarity to the Sonic franchise as of late)
I'd rather watch completley butchered versions of anime on TOONAMI or FOX. -------------------- Neneko is Neneko because Neneko couldn't be Neneko if Neneko wasn't Neneko! --as quoted from Neneko, Mahoraba {Heartful Days} I can stab a man with a thick paperback book thru the ribcage. |

Sega is not pushing Shadow to become its new mascot. Sonic is still number 1 and will have a huge part to play in Shadow's game. If its good sega will make more, if it flops Sonic's lead role will be undisputed. This game was made to appeal to young adults and adolesants.

I think this is a good concept for a game. I doubt I'l be purchasing it, but I hope it does well in sales so it will drive more developers to pursue this type of genre'.

I plan on getting it. After making this thread, I went to the GameFAQs message board for it. That comic I posted was a dead horse kicked, and some guy came up saying the gun was optional, and they have a wide array of weapons to choose from. Of course, all the weapons he listed were some form of gun.

Rocket fruit gun boot blasters!
Not really fond of the 3D sonic games too much, but I think the game could lift off. The gun element's still kind of foreign, but since when did a little violence ever bring bad publicity? -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

There are still Sonic games?
I've seen ads and the like about it all over, and I really don't care much for the idea. I mean...you don't need guns and 'street cred' to make a good platformer. 'Member Super Mario World? The Sonic games for the Genesis? Am I the only person left that things jumping on someone's head is a way to make them disappear and get a coin (or ring or whatever) out of their butt? I'm starting to believe game-hating jerks like US Senator Joe Liberman (D-Conneticut) and the like. Games have too many guns and the like. Oh yes, there's my haiku-fecthing friend! (I apologize for probably using a emoticon incorrectly.) -------------------- Really Random Quote of the Day: "Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war." - Richard M. I picked this up for my brother-in-law (who paid for it) for the GC, I'll borrow it from him at some point.
I'm confused as to how Shadow is supposed to use a gun. That would ruin the goreallyreallyfastthroughthelevel bit. -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

I take back what I said earlier, after watching a preview of it on X-Play. I might rent it....
