Here's an FF9 moogle fanart that I can't put in the submissions area. Pity though, we could use an FF9 section. happy.gif

They're not really whiskers, more like puffs of fur, but that's what I think.

Wow, this looks great, he has that lanky traveller look to him, which suits him well since that's what he does tongue.gif Great job on the detail and coloring!

Poor moogle, it must be pretty hard carrying that huge satchel all over the world. And on foot no less! Very decent rendition, though, Ronin--it has the classical moogle look, the shading's in place, and it detailed to a fine degree.

The only qualm I have is that his legs look like stumps. I always imagined that the bottoms of moogles' feet looked kind of like cat paws or something similar, but if this is based off of some actual FF art, I can't fault you for it. However, it does fit in with that chibi-ish look, so you've done a good job. smile.gif

Very good. I love the carrying bag. What did you use to make this? I'm particularly interested in how you did the line art.

Nicely done.

I don't recall his lower half being any darker than his upper. Is that just me?

Amano artwork from FFVI and official art from FF9 shows the moogle's foot as sort of pointed stumps. That's what I've based my art on.

Sketched on paper, Inked and Colored in photoshop using a Wacom Graphire3 tablet. The lines themselves were made using a photoshop brush that I tweaked to make look smoother.

Next up will probably a bunch of FF6 moogles. (The ones who help you fight the Narshe guards near the beginning.)

I couldn't find too much Stiltzkin art, official or no, but that's what it looked like to me.

I absolutely love this piece. My only comment would be that his right ear seems a little bit too far back, or out of place or something, but hey, I'm no artist so who am I to critique your work? Nicely done.

If you aren't making money as an artist, it's a crime. I'm trying to be and I couldn't touch the level of something like that.

I agree with you whole heartedly--How DARE you critique my work, you talentless slime!!!

I'm kidding. Yeah, I know the ears are a bit off. They looked fine when they were sketched out. happy.gif;

I'm nearly there. I get a bit of money from odd jobs now and then, but nothing steady or impressive.

That is one AMAZING picture. Considering both quality and creativity.

By the way, Kotetsu, you're missing an E between the W and the S. However, I can easily make up for that:

You really ARE pretty good at drawing. I'm impressed. The only thing I did not like was his stomach. It should be fatter. Because in FFIX, the moogles are very chubby, cute little things. To me, Stiltzkin looks like a hobo. I wonder if you'll do a drawing of FFV's moogles and the moogle forest smile.gif

Wow. Just... wow. NW said it best: you should be getting paid for this kind of stuff.

I really don't know what else to say, except... draw another one!

Awww, what a cutie. I must say I have a bit of a soft spot for moogles. I love how you made him stand out, without the use of bright colours. thumbup.gif

I was a bit confused about his lack of wings, but I assume they're covered by his pack. Or did Stilzkin not have wings in FFIX?

Good lord, that's a good piece of art, and I don't usually get excited about anything that doesn't have "Hikaroo" or "Narratorway" next to it. Nice work.
