FFIX by far, I can't think of anymore but IX by far is the best.

I like VI's ending the best, not only because it's the first FF I completed. I loved the upgraded character themes and the way it alternated between their escape from Kefka's tower and those little theme sequences. Very well done. At the time it brought a tear to my eye, especially when Shadow's theme played with just a greyed out background like he died (that was before I learned you really could save him).

I loved the end to X. I don't care what happened before the last half hour, because that made the entire game.
I also liked IV alot, though that was the first RPG i beat, so it might have been a bit biased. Also, the end to tactics was just so... wow. -------------------- Can you pull down the dawn? The only thing I like about X's ending was the theme song. I even put as the last track on a CD I burned full of death/black/doom metal.. fits nicely actually.
IX's ending is my second favourite. It made me smile. -------------------- Quote Do you think we're forever? |

FFIX and FFVI were probably the best. I cried during both of them. FFIV was the funniest. FFI and FFV were pretty generic. FFVII, FFVIII, and FFX were dissapointing. -CSM

FFI's was perhaps the worst. It ended up telling us to be good citizens, and that would be our crystals of light, if memory serves.

I loved the FFX ending but there's something about the FFIX ending I love a lot. I know it's not really the best ending but it's my favourite for some reason because playing that game was a really good time in my life, so FFIX is my favourite. Sound weird... probably.

If you are talking about FFI, then you are incorrect. Possible spoilers: highlight to view The FFI ending is that you put an end to the time loop, so that Chaos can't keep repeating his reign. It DID happen, you just put a stop to it happening over and over again. Final Fantasy X. Tragic, poignant, yet perfect. Executed with just the right timing, and a sense of cinematic poise that rivals the legitimate film industry. I never realized how much I truly enjoyed the game until the final scenes.

FF9's ending. It was what made FF9 my favorite game EVER.
![]() And watching all of the FMVs while the song is playing just added so much icing to the very yummy cake that was already a saccharinely sweet ending. My teeth were falling out. But boy did I love it. XD |

FFV was a good conclude. And FFVIII was unique and interesting with the whole 'Waltz for the moon' scene being edited.

FFIX. It was romantic and utterly perfect. The theme was extraordinary and Garnet looked stunning. It was a perfect culmination to Ganret's and Zidane's love story because unlike X and VIII, it had not peaked yet.
