Every now and then I draw something that reminds me I still have a long way to go. This would be one of those drawings. This thing basically kicked my ass.

There are more flaws in this than I care to count. But I put a lot of work into it, so I'm submitting it. As the title indicates, I redid the design for a character I already tried out a while back.

I tried to down play the line art in this pic. Maybe I did that too much. He seems to lack definition in some areas. I also decided to have a lot of autumn colors in the background, and I tried to have Gilgamesh blend in a bit with it. Y'know since he is a ninja in this.

That's certainly a pretty nifty pic, although ye gotta wonder just how inconspicuous a guy with six arms could possibly be . Is Gilgamesh supposed to be a ninja or is that just ye decided to make him here? Other than certain body parts blending in with each other, I guess I can't say anything else that ye don't probably already know.

I likes it. Though I must agree with Galsic on this one, I don't see ol' six-arms being anything near incognito.

I agree with the lack of definition. Although it is a good picture, I find it pales in comparison to - Gilgamesh 1.0

Gilgamesh Classic. Which was more badass whereas this is more chibi.

6 arms? Yeesh, I guess the pic really is lacking definition 'cause he has 8 arms.

I'm not too proud of this pic. Its not bad, it just seems kind of bland. And no Galsic, Gilgamesh isn't a ninja. Perhaps I shouldn't have taken him out of character like that either. Oh well, it seemed like a pretty cool idea in the beginning.

Why not? Personally, I see nothing wrong with a little variety in interpretation. In fact, if ye had him in a leotard doing some swan number and said that was his favorite hobby (a guilty pleasure, to be sure), I would have SO bought into that, too.

Of course, if ye really do regret it, then I don't know what to say .
