...Had Young Cloud die in the flashback so every turn Sephiroth wastes his turn Using Life2 on Cloud, just to have him die again? (I was fighting 3 frog-like things) After Seph casted Life2, one of them just killed Cloud again, so Sephiroth never had a chance to defeat the enemies. Sadly, I had to wait patiently for him to run out of MP so he would attack them.

I once had to heal after being hit by a heavy-duty spell. It was pretty annoying, because I lost a lot of HP and I was about to have that other character attack before it happened. But that's how life is; you can't plan ahead too far because the unexpected always happens when you least need it.
The story has a good ending though. I did end up recovering more HP than I lost when I got hit. My party continued fighting afterwards and I ended up winning the fight. yea it has, in my first game sephiroth just let cloud die
but then in my second he patiently cast life2 on cloud and then ran out of mp and finally did the dragon in it wasn't until my third game that cloud actually lived Edit yes seph doesn't run out of mp, he probably just got bored of reviving cloud, but at the time i thought he ran out of mp This post has been edited by Cloud_Strife510 on 7th October 2005 22:54 -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

Personally, Sephy always just reamed the dragon every time I've played.

That never happened to me, but it sounds like fun. Every time I played (and it was a lot...), Sephiroth always just left Cloud dead. Ocassionally, I'd go into my menu and have him cast Life2 from there.

Cloud very rarely ever died for me. Everything would attack Sephiroth. And as for me, whenever Cloud did die, Sephiroth would just ignore him.

In my game, Sephy would easily handle both reviving a knocked-out Cloud and cleaning up the monsters. I never ran into a problem with Sephy healing cloud over and over again.
Also, if I recall correctly, Sephy's MP, while a finite number, is technically infinite since his casting does not drain his MP. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. I never died on the dragon, but my cloud died a couple times in my FFVII career. Sephy always healed him a turn or two after death though.
