YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PROTECTIVE ARMOR!!!? HOW COULD YOU MISS IT!!!!?
You must have Echo Screen item to cure Silence... RIGHT?, as for the Sleep just attack your character or led Hojo do it for you. C'mon, you must have a RIBBON accesory... right? Cause if you don't you gonna have a HARD REALLY HARD time versus Ruby Weapon, unless you MORPH Master Tornberry down in the Northern Crater! -------------------- PS3 tag: TipoDLuffy "...quite possibly the greatest game ever made" |

Might I suggest that you look at our walkthrough section, and look for yourselves about the strategies available.
Not having any status protection might be a setback, but you can still manage it. IMO, only Sleep is really annoying, since you can easilly remove Silence with an Echo Screen. Just keep your limit breaks for his final form and you should be fine. |

The magic "resist" prevents any status being removed/cured/inflicted. Except the ones that still vanishes into time won't stay still. that goes for sleep too taht means normally using a remedy/esuna to cure a target.
You should have a vaccine at that point, there are only 2 in the game. If you don't your last bet is resist.< It's kind of a ribbon but also pervents you of using haste, Barrier, regen, etc. and lasts until you die. -------------------- Sayonara |

Not really, down in the crater you can get a lot of them from the monster that causes SADNESS, they usualy come in trios! -------------------- PS3 tag: TipoDLuffy "...quite possibly the greatest game ever made" |

Is that accurate? I'm pretty sure that my battle arena strategy involved resist + mighty guard, and I don't remember either one failing. -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |

i think (if you dont have any ribbons etc) its just a case of keeping items at the ready at all times
![]() Ive played the game through about 10 times or something, and my favourite killing of Hojo was the most recent.... Barrett got lucky 7's vs the first guy ![]() ![]() -------------------- 'Dolce et decorum est pro patria mori' -Wilfred Owen Diablo II is second only to ff7. |

I beat Hojo with no problem, the walkthrough said something about him being hard, I just killed him with like no problem at all. I just tore him up with Odin, Bahamut, and melee, had cure maxed, so regen with all materia grped with it is really helpful, I had elemental magic resist armors on all my chars. It was like he got drunk b4 the fight.
